it tells you in your clio handbook. Page 1.53 in mine. You have to turn the light stalk from position '0' to 'sidelights position' twice.

if its wiring up MK2 airbags into 172 seats then yes please do!

A few people disconnect the battery, cut the wires needed from their connectors, and twist/ crimp them together. Then lots of tape! Re-connect battery and all should work.

Cheers Phonenixy. I had a look at the fuse board earlier, turns out the brake light fuse had gone, which must be on the same circuit as the dash supply.

Hi I noticed i had a brake light out, so i tested the light bulb, and after moving the cluster about, the bulb came back on, so it must be a faulty connection somewhere. However i get back in the car and drive away, and the speedo and rev counter are dead, and nothing lights up on the dash...

My Dynamique has gone through this process. You would need 30mm spacers to make standard 172 wheels look right.

I've just bought an '02' clio that came with one key. I've got myself a second hand '02' renault clio plip from ebay, and have now been told that the key has a one shot chip, in that it cannot be re programmed to another cars ECU... Is this true, or are there ways around it? Thanks

Its no use if you havnt wired up the airbags. I have wired the seatbelts, but my serv and airbag light is on because of the un wired airbags. So i need to know how these are wired

In that picture mitch, you havn't needed to wire into the airbag plug, as the brown connector isn't plugged into anything. Or have you wired into the reverse of the plug by pulling the sleve back? My seatbelts light and pre tensioners have been wired in, but theres still too many lose wires...

Yup serv and airbag light is on, and has been for a month. I think i'll have to trial and error until the dashboard light goes off, just scared of setting the airbag off? I may nip to my local scrappers to get the connectors that are not on my wiring loom, but i need to know what goes where...

Can anyone take some photo's of the wiring under their 172/182 seats, as the wires for my seats have been cut and i havnt a clue which wire goes where. I know the orange sleeved cable is connected to the airbag, along with 1 black cable, but all the spade connectors etc have been cut off the...

LOL. Cheers fella. If its easier for you, you could explain on a PM what wires go to what, and ill try connecting them up. Im a spark so i should be able to do it with a bit of guidence.

How do i take the steering wheel off to see the airbag electrical connection? I dont fancy the thing going off in my face if i do something wrong :S

Ive looked under the seats, which are 182 ones by the way, and theres a few wires that are not connected to anything. Does the clio dynamique come with side airbags as standard? The problem must be related to the 182 interior
