    tighten them up unitl you start to feel turning resistance from the shock (it'll feel slightly bouncy through the tool), thats it

    you've over tightened the engine side top mount caps then (common mistake, which causes the springs to pop out) yes, both wheels should be in the air

    the "top spring cup" on the diagram we don't service cars no (unless they're having engine conversions obviously) i will gladly check your suspension for you though

    they're anti squeal plates (that don't work!), seriously, remove them, i've fitted over 20sets of DS2500's and i've done this on all of them = no squeal what have you got to loose???

    how about, NO CHANCE! build the strut in the following order (starting at bottom) strut large rubber ring (located correctly) spring top plate bearing (the correct way up) rubber doughnut brass spacer 17mm nut job done (all bits are in pic below)

    NO NO NO NO NO!! remove the torx screws when the calipers are STILL ON (get your mate to stand on the pedal MUCH EASIER) then remove the caliper and smack the disc off with a hammer

    yes there should be a rubber at the bottom of the strut that the spring sits in (it has locating marks on it)

    take the bumper off and the headlight, you might need to undo the engine mount and jack the engine up a bit
