I use DS 2500's with Max Discs. Now that everything is bedded in I'm pleased with the results, certainly better than O.E.M. material.
Next time round it'll be metallic compund pads. Although keeping my wheels pristine is an issue for me. Meaning I'd need to wash em' every day with the usage of...
GSD 2's are a safe bet. The GSD 3's E marked could be ok, but what I read about em' really put me off.
If you can afford to go up 205 you'd be well advised to. It will help with more grip. However I think your wheels are an e.t of 38? If you go for an increased width in tyre you could foul the...
Racing Blue, fine choice of colour, mine being the same.:)
The kit automatically lowers the rear by 20mm and the front by 30mm? If one wishes to go further you can.
70 mm, that's quite a large drop! At least even with a 25 mm drop I should see some improvement, less roll etc.
Much more stable cornering? Increased grip level, balance?
Who did you use to fit and adjust?
Cheers Justin, that's just the sort of thing I like to hear about future mods!:)
I can't lower the car more than 20-25 mm due to my wheels having an e.t of 38. Is this enough to get the full benefit of the H & R's ?
After the cams, inlets and re-map next week suspension will be next months mod.
From the praising reports on here about H & R coilovers I think I may follow suit and buy them for my car.
Question is, will I notice a difference over my Cup suspension? If so what sort of increase will I...
Beware of these GSD 3's!!
I was looking into changing from the Exalto's I currently use on my 182.
Many on here pointed me in the Eagle F1 direction. However there's a difference between the GSD 2's and GSD 3's. Grip and handling characteristics differ to a fair degree, with the GSD 2's...
I doubt there's an issue with the gearbox, considering how it performs and the miles it's covered.
I guess working out power is such a wide variable, that it's difficult to get an accurate figure.
The reason I asked is this:
When I got of the 182 Cup it seemed rather gutless so took it for a dyno run at Engine Advantage in Witham, Essex. An at the wheel figure was given of 134 bhp, with 150 lbs/ft and 178 at the flywheel. If a 12-13% power loss is present these figures can't be correct...
Having the inlet manifold sprayed in satin black soon when the cams are changed. Fancy doing a few other alterations in the engine bay also, not sure exactly what to do though.
Any chance of seeing a pic or two of an already modified engine bay? Will help in getting a few ideas together...
Thanks, might give that one a go, good results eh.:)
The avatar is Belial's Never Again album cover. Your right there is a sort of pleasuring going on there....;)
Thanks for the advice, I think I'll give one of theses glazes a go when it's time to SRP once more.
I presume the ClearKote products give the greatest appearance even if they're not that durable. Any particular one to use thats easy to apply with excelent results?
So the procedure would be (if I decided to use a ClearKote glaze) SRP, glaze then wax?
I would need to re-glaze the car every month or so (for protection and looks)? Would this mean I'd need to repeat the above procedure with SRP as a ClearKote glaze won't bond to the ClearKote Carnuba Moose...
Been thinking about using a glaze recently after looking at Clean Your Car's website.
Says that they're to be used after a polish. Some of the ClearKote products seem ok from the description.
Currently I polish with SRP and two coats of EGP afterwards. Then wax with ClearKote Carnuba Moose...
I guess it's a no brainer then. Shampoo to wash the wheels as the paintwork.
Thinking about one of these soley for wheel washing.

Anybody used these? Are they ok? Do they work well?
Odd as it may sound I've not come across APC so far. Any idea where to buy it?
What about Sonus Rim Bright. The description says it's a pH balanced product, requires some aggitation unlike others which are a spray on spray off. I thought this may be kind to EGP, wheel wax ect?
Alternatively...
These SuperTurismo's are getting dirty and requiring cleaning nearly every other day, much to my annoyance. It doesn't help with them being white due being the WRC variant.:dapprove:
So far I'm using a separate lambs wool mit and a bucket of Duragloss 903 shampoo to clean them. I'm finding...
