I don't regret paying more for my Mac, it's far better to use on a daily basis than my previous XP pc's were. The support from my local Apple retail store is also fantastic. Anything goes wrong with the basic peripherals and they give you a new replacement instantly.

Apple have apparently urged the media that this is a event they really must attend so I'd think something fairly big will be unveiled. Events for simple product revisions are not normally marketed so strongly by Apple. Fingers crossed for something good to blow my cash on.

Apparently we will see black and white iPod classics return today.

UK Apple online store is now down. Much earlier than usual. A iPhone sat nav announcement would be welcome, a possible partnership with TomTom. Unlikely but would be great.

More than likely announced later this month or October.

I'm hoping that's in the form of a unlimited iTunes subscription service.

They were quick to get stock into the shops this time last year, by Friday the new Nano's were available. The new additions are likely to simply be expanded colour choices for the updated Nano and a memory increase to 16gb.

New iPod's including a return to the taller Nano with a larger screen. A minor update to the Touch and I reckon it'll include a speaker now like the iPhone to make better use of the Apps which are now available. The iPod's are all rumoured to be falling in price to separate them from the iPhone...

They increased each of these prices by £50 compared to the original details they leaked online back in June. Unlimited free browsing has been increased from 6 months to 12.
