I'm not sure which tuning options are available in the UK release but I think you only gain access to anything like that on reaching or beating the A class license.

Integra to start with as it can be used in many different events and performs well. This was on the Japanese version but with double the cars in the UK release there may be other options.

GT5P in the post :) I'll be happier with the GT online system when they implement private game sessions rather than the current random room system. Apparently it will be available through an update, as will damage eventually. The CS online room will have to be on hold for now :(

I hope the Japanese version update will not allow selection of English language menus, if so my UK copy is a waste of money.

Same here, my email from Game arrived a short time ago.

Argos are charging £269 for the PS3 console, add the cost of GT5P and it's the same as Amazon but bought locally.

No your tariff will continue but you will no longer be tied in with them.

There is already a patch available got GT5P which will change the game title to GT5P Spec II. For the first time in a GT game ABS can be removed completely from the cars if desired rather than simply tamed down. Wheel lock up fun to be had :) Several other updates too...

I forgot to say, GT5 wheel is the best choice.

Only true with poorly ported 360 games. If developers opt to put effort into a PS3 game it's every bit as good. As for the GT5 comments they are best ignored, simply feeding time in trollville.

I'm still trying to find a quick conversion method on the Mac which does not take 2 hours for a 45 minute programme. I assume I need something that will passthrough the video and audio rather than converting it?

Yes almost double the number of cars, an extra track and more car setup options. The Japanese version will probably recieve an online update. My preorder for Prologue is with Game so it'll hopefully arrive on release day next week.

It will never make that date, lucky if it is released before Christmas in Japan. The developers have not set a date yet. Nigel I'd definitely recommend you buy Prologue, it's not expensive and is a great game.

I reckon it'll be 2009 before we see it here in the UK.

Yeah that about sums it up. Race through the various class of cars and earn credits to buy new cars. The UK release has more tuning options available than the Japanese version.

I think GT5 will offer a more sim like F1 car in comparison to F1 CE. Looking at the screenshots the visuals are excellent so I'm definitely looking forward to playing with the F1 car despite owning F1CE.

I had the same two options and chose VM and I'm glad I did. The combination of TV, Phone and BB with them is great value.
