The iPod interface is excellent, love it on my iPhone.

200 hours should pass quickly enough if I leave it on during the day while I'm at work. I reckon I'll choose a plasma then because my SD programmes on Virgin Media currently look crap on my LCD.

How long do they reckon you should run the screen in for? I'd end up leaving it on overnight if needed.

I had read some of the so called magazine experts say that 1080P is in no way essential and does not offer a great deal more. Not sure how true that is.

I'm looking to replace my 32" LCD in the next week or two but do not want to spend a fortune doing so. What's good and recommended but not likely to break the bank? Minimum of 2 x HDMI is essential.

I setup a IMAP account for use with my iPhone last night and really like it, the interface is far more usable than the POP accounts.

6 days later and I'm still happy with my iPhone :) Hopefully I'll feel the same for the next 18 months :D

Yeah you do not sign anything in store. I had considered waiting for the unlock but I'd have ended up paying a similar monthly cost so I was as well activating with O2.

My tarrif is not bad value at all considering all it includes, better value than the tariff I was on for the previous 18 months. The £35 p/month tariff is awful but the £45 is fair value and is not wildly different from other networks.

£810 of that cost would be applicable no matter what phone I got with any network on a £45 p/month contract. I never understand why people bother to include that in the cost. All that matters is handset price. If you are happy to pay it then do so, if not why moan about it? I'm very happy with...

Edge has proved to be far faster than I had been led to believe and pages are loading in pretty much the same time that they would have on my N73 but with the advantage that I can actually read them clearly.

I disagree, so far it has proved to be a great phone. Each to their own though.

The unlock is nearly ready for the uk iPhone so you are better buying one of those in a week or two rather than the French handset which is rumoured to cost a lot more for the unlocked version.

I bought my iPhone on Friday night and after a crap 3 days awaiting o2/Apple fixing 'iTunes Store is Busy' problems I finally got it activated today. So far I love it, will have a better look at it when I get home from work and sync it with my iMac.

I agree with Daz. As an Apple product it will not be subsidised.

Get the PS3 cause it's great. It'll not be long till the MS bods appear telling you how crap the PS3 is, how few games it has and all manner of other crap :D
