I like the Nokia UI but the processors they are using in recent phones (N80, N73, N95) are crap and in partnership with the limited RAM they run create a very slow and annoying experience. It's pointless them adding more and more features when the basic architecture of the phone cannot cope...

Would be nice to see some video previews of that too. Have they released anything yet?

I'll no doubt be tied into a 18 month contract on a phone that will be driving be mad when the first of these phones appear from Nokia but I do look forward to what will be available come May 09 :)

Retentions used to be available on 0870 600 7102 but I think if you choose the cancellation option from the main menu then you'll get to the same place.

I'm planning on buying the iPhone so I'll not get offered any deal. I've been with O2 for 5 years or more.

I'd imagine they are already doing that but the iPhone supports EDGE so they have little choice but to roll it out accross their network.

I was surprised to see a Edge data connection available on my N73 tonight. O2 must have activated it in this area within the last day or two.

3G is not essential, most places I would be while wanting to use the web browser do not have 3G coverage. I don't bother with it and it's disabled on my N73.

Have they made firmware changes since release day then as I had shown interest in this phone before reading reports regarding it been slow?

Do you like the P1i? I read mixed reviews about it when it was originally released, some people say it is a very sluggish OS.

I wouldn't form many conclusions from the Gadget Show review. Try one and see what you think of it for yourself. The N95 is a good phone but it still has the clunky symbian os which seems to get slower with every passing year.

It's installed on my iMac but they really need to sort Mail which is slightly s**t since the update. Lots of people reporting problems with it on the Apple forums.

v3 software works with the latest maps which are bundled with the V2 units. Mapshare etc all work on my One XL.

Yes the V3 software is available as a download and is happily running on my TT One XL.

Tell him you can get locked up for stealing a connection. Still pretty funny and shows why you should not leave your wifi network open.

Appzapper is also good for ensuring that you remove all associated files.

The Viewty does look good but in every video I've watched of it the touchscreen does not seem very responsive and often takes several attempts to react?
