Ok do I wait for the iPhone or do I buy a 16gb Touch and get a free k850i or N95 from o2 instead which will overall reduce my monthly mobile spend?

I had a look at the Touch at the Apple store in Glasgow yesterday, it reminded me how much I want to get the iPhone. Very quick interface, love it.

o2 opened a new call centre here in Glasgow last year, most of my calls to CS are usually handled there. I don't phone often and not really had many problems over the past 4/5 years.

As mentioned in another thread the 60gb console is to be phased out and bc along with it. Best to buy one of those before Christmas to guarantee availability.

I reckon you've all done enough to put me off. Maybe T-Mobile with web n' walk will be as good and then simply buy my own Slingbox. It'll still be cheaper than the iPhone with o2 and only £37.50 per month. No doubt I'll end up with the iPhone.

3 network, good or bad these days? I've been looking at what they have to offer and for £2 less per month than the iPhone i get all this: N95, 700 minutes or 700 texts per month or a mix of the two, Unlimited Skype, web surfing, Yahoo! Go, Mobile mail and Mobilcast, Sling & Orb. Plus Slingbox...

The 8gb Touch is £199, 16gb £269. The Touch would definitely have been my choice for such a little amount more.

No it gets returned to China and will be redelivered one day soon. Fortunately you can track it all the way back during the return journey too. Oh it's at Heathrow, now in Belgium, Holland.........

It's only £70 more for the Touch and well worth the cash for all you get extra.
