Yeah possibly....you might have a username and password, but just not have been told it by BT because they are giving out the home hubs... If you can get them to give you the username and password for your account it should be plain sailing

Yeah, thats for the control panel on the router itself. The service username + password that the router uses to connect to the BT ADSL network is a different thing...back in the day it used to be your account number for BT and a password...these days not so easy I dont think.

You'd need your BT username + password for their ADSL service, and then plug the netgear router in, and input those details. In the days before the home hub sh*te everyone had their own username + password, come to think of it the BT business ADSL line we have has its own username + password...

Yeah, ive seen that before, the first few pics look like my JB3 at the moment.......but also seen people on other forums machining their own retainer plate after seeing this on C16v (last pic)

I might try and get hold of a f*cked 172/182 box with a bolt in diff and see if it will transfer to my spare JB3 with the popped circlip, the casing looks very similar

Ive never seen another valver JB3 with bolt in diff for sale on any of the sites (yet)... I was thinking the other day though, if a 182 diff (which has the bolt in diff) would fit into the valver casing? I have the reciept for mine when it was bought from Renault by the previous owner, £1200...

Hmmm never seen a pin before when ive done them! Easy-ish job to swap cable, if a bit fiddly behind the dash etc.

Tried getting hold of a spare cable? The internal side of it may be knackered?

I use the 4 wheel type from machine mart, been fine for the F4R. I know someone with the tripod one from machine mart too that was fine for an F4R...

you should be getting 12v constant or thereabouts on cranking on that one wire. the other two are earths. The ECU earths them one then the other in sequence to create the spark

M14 bolt is sport models yeah. M12 bolt hole was all non sport (1.2/1.4/1.5/1.6), which is the same bolt size as a Mk1 Valver/Williams. AFAIK from reading, and from dialogys/tech notes, all non-sports were either 52mm or 58mm........but oddly the Mk1 Valver/Williams were the same hub (use...

There you go then....the answer is unknown! Out of the 7 hubs Ive got (with two on the car) they are all 54mm, so who knows!

Could only find a WHSmith shatterproof ruler, lol. AFAIK the only model that is different on the 1*2s is the trophy, as well as possibly some variation of the 182, which are 60mm...but considering the thread was 172s, there you go :)

LOL, I really cant be arsed going getting the hubs and a set of verniers to get pics. I will just remain confident that what hubs ive personally had and used from 172s have been what ive said above, and let you believe what info you want lol!

Well I'm running 54mm coilovers on hubs I removed from 172 Ph1, lol Got spares that have been machined down for my car also, one from a Cup and one from a 172 FF....both 54mm too
