I was looking into what oil i can get locally and have been looking for 5w-40 or 10w-40 oil all can't really find some and dont fancy mail ordering as i was gonna change it this weekend ;) I'v tried halfords.com and my local motor factors...

I'm gonna be changing my oil sometime over this weekend. I have a few questions. What type of socket do i need for the sump plug ? Is it a square one ? If so what size ? And how much oil does the 2002 172FF hold with an oil and filter change ? ?

What a coincedence, i've just been off phone to Renault Parts Aberdeen and they say that they don't stock engine oil for retail sale to public (they use big 25 gallon steel drums) but the guy said i needed 10w 40.
