I was checking my fluid levels today on my car and when i was checking my coolant. This black cover/cap thing caught my eye on the right side of my engine block beside throttle body. Does anyone know what its for ? Or whats underneath it ? I didn't want to try and remove it as...

I've heard about people doing this washer trick but thought it was a strut off job or something What noise does it eliminate ?

I was gonna have a go at cleaning my throttle body tomorrow :) Has anyone ideas what i can use to make it a bit easier ? Or the best way to clean it ? And what to use ? Will any carb cleaner in an aerosol can do the trick ? Or have i to watch for damaging any rubber seals inside :S

I managed my self mate to remove i just laid an old quilt cover on ground on front of car so i could lay it face down on that without scratching it ;) I have a front and rear bumper removal guide i can e mail you if you wish ? I was emailed it from Nono on here :) The instructions are...

Just thought i'd say on removal of my bumper it was found that the bolts under whell arch trims and the two underneath forward of the plastic sump/engine cover were 10mm :S

I was gonna change my oil this weekend but never got round to getting to Renault for Oil Filter etc etc A quick one, i was gonna use 5w-40 fully synthetic oil for my 172. Do you's think 5 litres enough ? As that the biggest carton of oil i can find is 4 or 5 litres, or will i have to buy a...

I'll maybe give Renault a shout outta curiousity :) Was 5 litres enough, as Renault say the oil capacity is 5.1 litres :S
