Buy the ktec connector and rob the o rings off it and fit on your current pipe. Its generally the o rings that hold it in place tight. I wouldnt attempt to swap the full connector to the plastic pipe without the right tools as it needs to be push fitted into the pipe. This method could work...

Itll need to work on the canbus if using oem ecu. Assuming gen 90 if ktec control car you may have an rpm feed that will work.

I have a pic somewhere but cant find it for love nor money. My mate had a naughty heavy paddle clutch and it broke the same piece, it was pretty basic couple of plates that bolted to the box with a few bars to take the load.

Get a steel bracket made to bolt to the box to reinforce the cable pivot point. Seen it done to repair them when broken.

Pressure up the cooling system to 15psi and you will soon know if matrix is leaking. Itll stink of coolant inside the car.

Check for fluid leaks first. If none id assume something might have gone on the master cylinder. Prob try a bleed first.

Basics first has coolant level dropped/need topping up regularly
