Steelies are great!
For any 1.2 owner thinking of alloys, they should just get a rattle can out and be proud of their steel. Turinis aren't the only answer
Shoudn't need anything more doing to it. The speakers are connected to the loom else they wouldn't have worked with the old stereo.
do they STILL work with the old stereo? Plug it back in and if all channels are good then you don't have to fiddle with any more wires
If you're seriously topping out at £4k and want something in top fettle, That 172 looks the part.
The RB 182 looks lovely. It could be marginally nicer as a daily than the Trophy, but Trophy is Trophy "OMG Dual-reservoirs" etc.
Otherwise, unless you MUST have low miles, don't be put off by a...
Chip.
Technical Q.
If you don't use an external bypass, so keep gases in the system, does that mean you reduce lag to a degree. Just thinking that if there's already air in the system, it should help drive the turbine quicker than if it had been vented.

I always heard that it was...
I kinda like them for their almost completely bland looks.
Whip off the wing and Type R badges and it's just any x-plate Jap saloon...... until y0!
Mind, I like Toledos for a similar reason. Small saloons FTW :)
Sorry, mnurrr, failed to use the power of reading there.
Strange..... I'm assuming you've checked your fader settings :o
What leads did you use to plug in to the Clio loom?
Check your settings, you may have switched the internal amp off. You need the internal amp on for the power-pack to work as it's essentially just a booster pack.
Disable the internal amp only if using amps connected by RCAs
Sounds like an awful lot of money thrown into an engine "to look cool" and "not for big BHP".
I take it you'll be upgrading brakes and suspension to suit?
You realise a 197 would cost the same if not less than all this work... and will be worth more once the money is spent.
Your car, your...
Well, it had a renault gearbox that didn't like 3rd gear, it was coming up for all belts next year and, in fairness, I didn't need the practicality anymore.
I only got rid of my last Mazda because I didn't want the missus of the time driving it straight after her test. A phone call to confirm...
Leather > Alcantara > Cloth > Vinyl > bed of nails
I'd say FF's are, in all real-world eventualities, better than 182 Cups.
My 172 was really quite civilised. Decent enough ride, cruise for motorways and average-speed areas, climate for that perma-1-degrees lifestyle, Xenons for safer night...
LY R27 is the only Clio worth bothering with, aside from LY V6
But I wouldn't move away from a FF to a Cup, you might get a placebo effect of "awww, its proepr much faster in da twistiez", but that wont last long.
Cloth seats? Pft.
Hi all.
So, I'll get an iPhone when I can be bothered to get round to it but in the meantime I was wondering what the "best" solution is for being able to upload photos, either for posting in here or for just storing on the web.
Picasa? Imageshack? I don't know.
Thanks in advance
This is a genuine question, and a bit of a "noob" one.
But when you're running so low, with the wheels tucked in at the front, do you have limited steering lock? From the Chris Love Photography image, it looks like you'll be hitting your arches before you get 1 full turn of the wheel.
