172cup has more castor than normal 172 setup.

172 cup are longer than stock. Ring up Rpd and they can confirm which ones you need. Firstline also do an aftermarket one to suit but they are a carry on to get and not much cheaper than genuine Renault. You want quality tie rod ends too oem, lemforder or trw

I would add new genuine Renault inner tie rods (cup specific length) and tie rod ends (genuine Renault or lemforder) to the list whilst your there.

I had a set of part worn ps3s off the fella on ebay, great value for money they had 7mm of tread. Good wet & dry grip for road use. Ad08rs are great too cheap as chips. Yet to use mine in anger on track, see how they fair at Blyton. Perform great on fast road use in the dry though.

Buy the full chip version mate it will be more stable £120ish. The cheap ones work but sometimes drop connection and mine broke after a short period.

Strip it down, find the issue and fix it. It wont be hard or expensive to be fair

Engine swap is easy enough on these. Stick a new clutch in whilst engine is out, fresh belts/dephaser, New service items and good to go for plenty of miles

Do you have the bumpstops fitted ? I think its fairly common to be on them under hard cornering on cup shocks & lowered springs.

Clip drivers are all 32bit. I couldnt get away with a vm running xp as the usb would not connect properly for some reason so bought a chepa old xp laptop to make life easier. Later versions of clip can run on windows 7 32bit (v170 & up from memory ?) so might be another option

Ast's look great i need a set of fronts for my Kangoo when money allows. I would keep an eye on the camber adjustable bushes the megane ones they done were terrible and kept moving. I would be tempted to add negative camber on the strut bolts instead.

If you scan it with clip a fault code will be stored. I personally would just drive it until the light is on all the time then diagnose and fix as it might have just had a hissy fit. Are all tyres the same size ? Rattle gun best for the strut tops ive never managed a clio set with swan neck spanner
