I thought all stripes were gash, irrespective.
That's your usual tune anyway.
Came on the car when I got it. Didn't want them taken off only to find it's had something keyed into it, or have ex-post-van stripes left behind
I dont doubt it.
If i had the time/money/ability/inclination I'd get it, put the interior back in, respray it as a 1100 Nova on steels and annoy people endlessly.
I got my MX-5 while I could.
Now I need practicality, I cant have another. And until the other half has 5-years driving experience I cant get anything truly tasty with 4 or more seats.
sigh.
OK, something like.

A few quic on cables and you're there
no no, no need for that dude.
seriously, I know nothing, I get garages and workshops to do everything to my car, I daren't even try.
What do you want and how much are you comfortable in spending? If you want to keep thinks like the stalk-controls and the dash-top display, you can do that wit h...
I'm sure there's a bit in the guides all about this.
I know you can fit 6.5's in the pods, it just takes work. But not subs.
probably fit these in the rear though.

buy it, but it now.
buy expensive cars when you're young and dont have mortgages etc. to worry about.
Sure, it'll depreciate but, whatever, but it's better than buying some 1.2 then burning money hand-over-fist trying to make it something it's not.
You'd even be able to sell it later on when...
if you use filters in a new HU, they'll cut low to all the speakers attached, I think... .depends on the unit.
I'm sure you could get some in-line filters though, MT Audio should be able to help you out there.
In any case, you'll need a new HU, as the OEM kit isn't the last word in power and...
Re: Any interest in a Karting meet?
isn't there some blag that you shove your hand over an intake or something to get more speed?
Sure I saw it on a Karting championship on Motors?
Probably doesn't apply to put-put corporate karts mind
you could stick a pair of 6.5" mid-bass in the bck, but you'll need filters to cut out high-end to them.
or, and this is going to be frowned on, but a set of chav-x-9's in a stealth shelf? SO long as no-one can see them, you can pretend they're not there.
Mo Bass, Mo Boot Space.
you can get the tweets out without the dash off. It's fiddly and you'll use language a blue eagle never would, but it is doable.
Best go for the Pioneer Renault Custom jobs if you do though.
thing is, unless you amp them, there's no point. The standard ones react well to a new head-unit
no, no I wouldn't.
straight-4s generally sound completely toss. Only exceptions I can think of are Vtec Hondas.
If you want something to sound tasty, you need at least 1 more cylinder, preferably 2, 4, or 8 more
stick a sub in the boot.
run everything off a HU with High-pass filters and send all the low to the sub.
the 1*2 speakers aren't actually that bad when you let them focus on the upper-range
for rallying wouldn't some more compliant suspension be better?
Not telling, just asking. I always thought rally cars needed softer set-ups than track motors todeal with the road/mud conditions?
