he car wont go up in value, no matter what aftermarket trinkets you dangle off of it, so I cant see the point in them
is BTCC going to bring in a whole raft of rule changes again this year?
such as reversing the grids, having the cars line up backwards and have to reverse the first lap, before then having a pit stop and changing to a t-car?
I tried to use an indepedant who were adamant they could do it...right up until they tried.
Renault my not be the cheapest, but they will honour the work if it goes wrong
Anyone care to recommend somewhere that'll give my air-con a once-over without charging the earth for it?
It may be time for a re-gas, but equally as the Clio is more of a driveway ornament than a vehicle, it may have other issues.
It hasn't had any attention to the AC whilst I've had it...
I looked at one of these when they first came out, to replace my aging MX-3
liked the,m right up to the oint where the sales boy said "yeah, they're REALLY quick", then spotted what I had for part ex and backtracked heavily, instead started on practicality and reliability.
I'd stll have one as...
Fifth gear did a back-2-back test of Saxo VTS vs. Ph.1 172 when it came out (no doubt it'll be on Dave sometime in the next week or so!)
iirc the Clio edged it
you get what you pay for.
For instance the interior of the Saxo is pure shiitroen, built to be sold at a discount with 20 years of free everything, just to shift them.
Besides, the £1500 quid saved will only be poured into ropey "mods" that only make it cheaper
From what i've noticed:-...
Saxo's I dont have time for
106's (GTi's or Rallye's) on the other hand, I like.
Which, considering they're pretty much the same, makes no sense at all.
UPDATE:
the more you read, the worse a deal this little amp looks. Now word is that it's only good for 4x22w RMS, which makes it little better than the head-unit!
for 130 quid, that's a lot of money for conenience
final qs.
would the filters be ok stuck to the inside of the door card? either via sticky pad or velcro?
oh, and are these any good? thinking they'd go well in the rear holes?

How to use a KTP-445
http://www.crutchfield.com/Learn/videos/amplifiers/alpine_ktp-445.html
Thanks MT, nice to know. Here's a q for you. Using this amp would the Hertz comps filters fit in near the HU end? If so that'd be far easier than using JBL's or whatever?
Can't find many of these...
the amp part should be a 5-minute (HU out, plug amp in, shove wires behind dash, HU in) job.
I think the fitting of Comps may well take a while though, I remember it did on my old MX-5, and that was built like a kids lunchbox compared to the Clio (now THAT's saying something).
Ross.
I was looking at one of those Amps but a friend of mine told me not to bother. Mind, he's VERY into his ICE.
Once you've got everything fitted, could you let us know how it all sounds, is it really a substitute for a "proper" amp?
Finally, my Alpine HU says 4x45w, is this RMS or...
a Twingo GT with 130 brake?
given it's slightly lighter weight, if you bolted some more heavy-duty brakes on, would this not make it at least on par with the RS Twingo?
Twingo GT Turbo?

it'll download and install any new software versions without wiping your content (99% of the time, anyway).
If no joy, be prepared to send it into Nokia, N series phones can't be fixed at places like Carphone Warehouse express repair centres and all have to...
a small diesel is going to be more civilised than a small petrol.
but after playing the autotrader game, yeah, it may be hard to find a good one that hasn't been 'round the world within the price range you've looked at
