Klonking is fairly normal, its just the pads sticking to the discs
Exhaust - Magnex is good, fits well, but isnt the loudest, K-tec is another option for you
Green IK - i wouldnt go for, open induction kits tend to lose power on the 172!!! either just replace the element inside the OE...
Dont take it too KWIK sh*t!!!!! Get it to northampton motorsport (Ask for Roger in Alignment Dynamics, This bloke knows his stuff)
Rog has dealt with cars with problems like this before, main dealers check em out, say the cars fine (still drives sh*t)
Rog gets the car and finds the camber is...
First things 1st!!!!!
1 - any 1998 onwards clio (the ones with the fat arse) can go down 60mm on 17inch wheels no problem, as long as the offset is ET37-ET40
2 - 1998 onwards clios DONT have torsion bars!!!!! they have 4 springs (cost ya £80ish)
3 - WINDSCREEN WIPERS!!!! Bloody hell!!! No...
remember aftermarket wheels wont be the same offset as OE
the superls hes putting on are 7inches wide, OE wheels arent!!!!!!
If you had ET 43-48 they would catch badly on the inside of the arches
et37 is fine, infact IMO its perfect for clios
Exhaust should be ok, mine catches on the rear beam, but it is down 110mm!!!!!
std shocks wil be fine, but they will only last about 12months max. IMO the best springs to go for are Pi 60mm
Roamers was 170lbs/ft and 212bhp
Phillip!!! Bloody hell thats a MASSIVE torque figure!!!! Im not having a go or anything, but just curious as to which rolling road that was done on????
david it takes a bit of getting use to!!!! Its slightly closer than OE but is MUCH smaller i love and think it looks cool
Looks fine during the day, accept the sun reflects off it and into my eyes!!! BLING BLING!!!!
