I'm wanting to put an external ligh on the back garden to flick on when the dog goes out for a lash. I'm thinking of just wiring an ELD floodlight to a 3pin plug and drilling through the wall into the garage. Then put it on an Alexa plug and I can just tell it to turn the light on, rather than...
Firestick has just cut off mid race for the F1, bang on 3pm, probably due to the football. Can anyone recommend a decent VPN I can download onto the stick?
LG48C2 (2022 model) - I cannot seem to get my head around this, I have my TV on a stand in the corner of the living room. I sit on the couch opposite the TV, but when listening to music or films/TV programs, there seems to be a certain distance between the TV and the couch that the bass just...
Last time I played a console was an Xbox something our lad had. I like things like Call of Duty where I can play on my own or go online. Also loved GTA back in the day, so will probably grab that too. Is Forza any good? I could do with a racing game, like Need for Speed etc.
I'm probably just...
In my office at home I currently have a desk with 2 floorstanding Eltax speakers to the side. I wanted to move it round so my desk is under the window, but the cabinet I have all my trainers on won't then fit the other way due to the width.
So I am considering losing the speakers and replacing...
I've got a spare set of black leather seats for the TT. The fronts are a little shiny, so obviously need a deep clean. I've used autoglym leather cleaner on which suggests using a cloth and vigorous cleaning, leaving for 2mins, and then wiping down with a soft cloth.
Backs have a nice matte...
Ours is giving up after 11 years, 2 belts and a few kicks. It seems hardly anyone stocks vented items these days and condensers seem to be "more efficent" on B ratings.
I've read somewhere that condensers don't get the clothes "as dry" or fluffy.
Can anyone who's had both recommend which is best.

£10 says the cambelt hasn't been done but they can show you the invoice for the parts
So, looks like some c**t has scammed a few small transactions from my account. Santander have cancelled my card and issued a new one, but I only really ever use paypal for stuff. I'm wondering if anyone uses an anti-virus thing on their phones to stop f*****s getting your bank deets?
My old dear has bought herself some Bluetooth headphones for her TV, not realising the TV doesn't have a Bluetooth output, so she needs to buy an adapter.
Having a look on ebay they look to be just something you plug in the usb and 3.5mm jack, or am I missing something...
I'm going to have to buy a mitre saw for when I'm doing the garage roof and decking. I saw this one in B&Q which I thought was cheap, as it's £240 in MachineMart. Does anyone have any other ideas? I don't want to spend a fortune on something which will barely get used, but also don't want to buy...
Does anyone work for Virgin? My usual package is 100mb broadband at £27 a month, but my contract is out 09/01/21 and they have upped it to £49 a month which is a pisstake.
New customers can get the same deal on 18m contract for £27. I'm happy to sign up to an 18m contract, but do they honestly...
My streaming service seems to be being scrambled. The provider reckons its due to some ban during Premier league times, and recommed a VPN.
From a very quick look, Express and Ghost seem to be good options, but can anyone shed any light?
Had a "new" motherboard installed about 5 years back. It's been getting slightly slower recently and today went all blue screen of death. Restarting it only led to it trying to boot up/repair to no avail.
Took it to the local PC shop who said the hard drive is showing 98% and its shagged. He...
That looks very tidy

Working from home, I've noticed that the wifi capability of my PC is f**king junk, probably because it's a £10 USB adaptor. I'm getting 2mbs on speedtest (although I get over 100mbs on my phone). My office is in the back bedroom, probably the furthest away I could get from the router, so hard...
