What do people recommend for track use but also driving to the track and limited road miles.
It’s been a while since I had the alignment done and these were my settings.
Camber was pretty much maxed out with camber bolts.
I’m planning on refitting the flywheel and new clutch the weekend what do people use to lock the flywheel so the bolts can be torqued up
Something like this...
Right as I have my engine out I have decided to change the clutch cable as it is easier to get to.
I’ve got a Febi 172058 cable as it was massively cheaper than Renault.
Just looking at the one in my 182 it looks different to the Febi but the Febi looks the same as the Renault ones advertised...
Has anyone used the Eicher brake discs on track from Euros
They look very similar to the brembos that Kam sell
I normally use Brembo HC with RC6 pads but seen these wonder if they are worth a try
A few weeks ago I seen a post with part numbers and options of which alternator will fit from Euro and GSF but can't find it now, if anyone can link to it that would be good(y)
I wouldn’t mind getting cruise control working again, I think I damaged the ribbon wire when fitting a spacer to the boss a few years ago and it stopped working.
Is there anyway of checking signals on the plug to make sure that is the issue before buying a new squib
Just seen you on the M5 at West Bromwich,
I think it was silver with the sticker in the back window loads of other stickers on.
just caught a quick look as it was getting off at J1

Anyone had a windscreen fitted recently without going through insurance.
my last trackday I ended up with a cracked screen, I’ve left it over winter as I have not used it but want to get it sorted now ready for the summer and trackdays.
what sort of prices am I looking at for a 182 screen fitted?
I am thinking of having PPF applied to my new car when it arrives as I do a lot of motorway miles.
Is it really worth over £1200 for the front of the car and wings to be covered?
As I am stuck in decided to spend a couple of days on my car.
Day one
involved removing winter wheels cleaning arch’s with Gtechniq W5 APC, painting mudflap bracket as the paint had chipped, fit new discs and pads on front (did rears a couple of months ago) paint discs, give everything I could...
My Dad has a 2018 Honda Jazz (he's old lol) he keeps going on about reversing cameras, unfortunately they do not have them as an option for his model so got to go for a aftermarket one.
Anybody got any recommendations for one preferably one with the mirror screen so it looks a little neater in...
I have the “normal” thicker bracket PMS a/c delete kit.
I have just taken My car to bits to work on the power steering pump and as I have access is it worth upgrading to the new kit as it is not cheap...
My 182 is only really used for trackdays and today on the way to the RS trackday when I started the car I heard a quick squeal, just thought it was the aux belt needing adjustment (PMS a/c delete kit).
I adjusted the belt before going out on track but still a quick squeal on start up after...
I have recently brought a new laptop and all my folders ie documents, photos, music etc are directed to C drive my SSD but it is only 128GB and I want to save everything to my D drive which is 1TB.
What is the best way to go about this?
My desktop is 6 years old now and so slow it is becoming annoying.
I am looking for a laptop to replace it but no idea of what I really need.
I will be using the laptop for normal use ie internet and PP excel, word etc, playing around with my gopro videos but also using Solidworks.
With...
Looking online yesterday I seen the amazon fire 7 for £30 and brought it, As i have had a thought of using it for my track car for monitoring with something like torque pro and probably put a sat nav on it.
Is this tablet suitable for the apps or would I be better taking it back and getting...
I have my Gaz Golds on now and looked at a couple of places to get them set up,TCR want £300+vat and Lohan will not touch a Clio.
Anybody know anywhere else that is not going to cost half the price of the coilovers
I am going to be fitting my new wishbones in a couple of weeks, does anyone know the correct torque for the bolts had a search but can't fid anything?
Cheers
I have my roof scoop painted with rattle cans Hycote white primer Hycote florescent orange and a acrylic lacquer but after a couple of years it looks like a tortoise shell, all my badges and mirrors are painted the same way and they are fine so I assume it is the fibreglass.
The paint or paint...
I decided to paint my calipers again so removed it last night (just the front right) and put on a spare caliper but did not notice there was no nipple in it.
Today when I went to put it back on there was fluid on the floor but still fluid in the reservoir so just refitted the caliper as I have...
Ordered some silicone coolant hoses but not sure what clamps to get either jubilee clips or is it better to get some mikalor clamps or somthing similar?
I am changing the rad and removing my AC soon so while everything is out I thought it would be a good time to change the hoses.
Am I better reusing the Renault clips or replace them with jubilee clips?
Also does anybody know where to get some orange hoses from, I have found them on JS...
Not Clio related but thought it would be best in here.
I have a Suzuki Swift and the spring keeps popping off the mechanism, I assume this is normally a press fit but it no longer stops in.
I have tried drilling a hole through and I was going to tap it and put a bolt and washer on to stop it...
As my boot would knock when going over bumps I decided to fit some pins.
I have had them for about 4 months but finally got round to fitting them today, I cut some carbon vinyl out to put under the latch to stop it scratching the paint and used stainless bolts instead of rivets, not bad for £5...
