christurbo is spot on, when i bought my 54 plate 182 new, i had the same problem with the steering wheel been out slightly. I took it back to the Reno dealer and they confirmed that the wheel can't be moved by a spline so they centralised the steering rack by locking the steering wheel staight...

Not sure about part numbers, all i can suggest is to speak to Magnex themselves and they will sort it out for you, but like you say,,it sits spot on now with no bangs or clatters espeacially when carrying passengers. I am well happy with it now :-)

Hi all and a merry xmas to you, It was me who first put this post on regarding the modified rear mounts, Magnex had my car for a week to sort the sagging of the exhaust out, they made these mounts to replace the standard Reno ones and asked me to run the car for a couple of weeks to see if the...

Hi All, i thought i would pass this info on to you all regarding the Magnex cat back system for the Clio 182. knocking on my 172

You could also check out the top off side engine mount, if the rubber is not equal distance inside the square metal surround this too can cause knocking on acceleration and de acceleration, i had this happen on mine.

Forgot to ask on my previous reply,,, but those of you who have had alignment problems on the tailpipes, did you find it got worse after about a week or so? The reason i am asking is that when my second system was fitted (apart from the different length of tailpipes) i found that they both...

I bought a cat back Magnex for my 182 and i too am quite dissapointed with the fit, I am on my second system due to the tailpipes not lining up correctly in the bumper cut outs, also the left hand tail pipe seems to be longer than the right! the sound is similar to the standard one at low revs...

    Best Airfilter for 182

I seem to think that induction kits which draw air in from round the engine bay causes poor running especially in hot weather, i found this when i tried one on my Astra GTE years ago, other ones you can get are enclosed, i think Viper do one, these have their own pipe feeding cold air from...

It does this a couple of times then its fine and never...

    182 exhaust Mounts

I have a stainless steel exhaust fitted to my 182, it uses the standard exhaust mountings which unless they are helped with tie wraps seems to allow the exhaust to sag and vibrate on the axle beam.Looking at the design of the rubbers which are like star shaped having voids in them i was...
