    1.2 driveshafts

Is anybody aware if the 1.2 8v/16v driveshafts are different? A friends 16v is knocking with a split boot and he has ordered a 1.2 8v shaft by accident, his car is a 2002 and the shaft is 2001. Both 26 tooth abs rings thanks in advance!

    Cool tweaks for iOS

I used to have an iphone before switching to android a few years ago, then got an iphone 6 as i fancied a change, that lasted about 3 weeks before i got a galaxy s6, ios just isnt for me, the simplicity is brilliant and i can see the appeal, but i like to tinker so android it is for me

Please give me advice, Clio swap

Indicators and grille are interchangeable and easy to swap over, 2 tabs on the back of each indicator housing, and if you can locate and release the tabs on the grille they pull off, also two clips/bolts up top iirc

    Advice on alloys?

Agreed, having a right moment with my phone at the moment! :(

    Advice on alloys?

With 195/45/16s you should have no issues, the alloys you currently have are the 15'' version of the 172 alloys, desireable in their own right, plus tyres are cheaper, id be sticking with them personally and putting the cash towards upgrading consumables

    Advice on alloys?

oem means original equipment manufacturer, so original clio wheels. Get some turinis or 172/182 alloys, they are a direct fit and will suit it a lot more, many sets for sale on here and ebay!

    Another plasti dipped clio

Soon got bored of the plastidip peeling around the windows so decided to peel it off. Great fun i must say, peeled panel by panel and it was back to before within in the hour. Once it was off i gave it a good polish and fitted the xenons that i won for £45 posted on ebay! The arch gap can be...

@iimushroomzii varies on care to be honest, but ive been told its good for a year or 2 if cared for properly. stone chips etc are touched up very easily aswell. At £160 a pop and a few hours time ill probably peel it after 6 months and change the colour if im honest

    Another plasti dipped clio

So boredom and nice weather yeterday resulted in me plastidipping the clio! Its a 2002 1.2 and was just plain boring! Ive had it around 6 months and have made small mods over the time, mainly 172 alloys and the sport interior just to make it a nicer place to be. Lately i have been collecting...

Random limp mode 1.2 - please help!

I would then assume your car is pre 2004 and has the rubber encased top loom as opposed to the one with the revised plastic cover? If so this is your problem. Its not welded on but is a thick steel welded structure made by renault to deter theives, and they are designed to be tamper proof so are...

Random limp mode 1.2 - please help!

The most common problem is the tamper proof box above the ecu plug working loose and chafing wires, check the top of the bay below windscreen, if the metal black box is there, you need to remove it asap! I had the throttle fault thrown up a few times whilst the electrical fault light was showing...
