Updated brakes required for turbo conversion?

Defiantly track days along with some road use. Don't need it to commute so just a fun car if I'm honest.

Updated brakes required for turbo conversion?

I've got Engine Dynamics fitting it for me, so I trust this issue wouldn't be too much of a problem. But will keep an eye just incase. Thanks

Updated brakes required for turbo conversion?

Had them on my old Volvo. Found they kick off a lot of dust. Have seen people mention DS1.1s?

Updated brakes required for turbo conversion?

That's on the list along with discs. Just need to do a bit of searching to see what's best.

Updated brakes required for turbo conversion?

I'm having a turbo installed and probably have not thought about a minor problem. Are the current brakes good enough for a turbo? Or does the calipers need upgrading? It's only a low pressure but seeing as I've not had a go in one it's difficult to tell. Already have braided lines which will...

172 cup rolling road with graph@174 bhp

Why do you think that was? Larger inlets?

172 cup rolling road with graph@174 bhp

I was asking as most long term members would of seen different figures over the years at different mileage, hence why I asked the question. The main reason was to see if it's worth upgrading parts or not. Yes it's a figure but is it a good figure! I have my answer.

    Confused with lightweight alloys

How much difference is there with weight? Is it worth while change? How much would I be expecting to pay for a secondhand or new set? Thanks for the reply!

    Confused with lightweight alloys

Firstly sorry about the question but don't know what would be best. Im looking for a lightweight wheel to be very similar looking as the 172 cup alloys. What I'm not sure about is size? I'm reading 15" but would the size effect the speedo / mileage? Also I see you can select the "off set". What...

RS stamped difference over matched inlets

Right. I'm going to put this to the test. Where can I take my car (live in Farnborough. Hants) where I can get a reliable RR test. Obviously I'll need to take the car away change manifolds and go again so is there any factors needing to be taken into account? Temp? Etc.. Unless someone has done...

RS stamped difference over matched inlets

Well its misrepresentation in my book regardless of sale. If there is a gain then it's fine but no gain, then there's a problem. I'll roll road mine and see what happens. I understand these are very limited to gains unless big money spent which would not really be worth it to most owners. Thanks

RS stamped difference over matched inlets

Mmm.. Jam sport told me different. So basically I will be wasting my time swapping an RS one with a matched one! Great.

RS stamped difference over matched inlets

Hi all. Had a quick look and couldn't find the answer. Is there any difference between the 2 with performance or general running of the engine? Thanks

engine feels different after fitting new top engine mount and powerflex insert

Where did you buy your top from (one that sit in the power flex) Was going to add my powerflex into mine but it look quite worn so may as well change that too. Renault by me wants £100! Sounds a bit steep to me.

    Power-flex top mount

I've recently bought a top mount (172 cup) which looks like it just sits with the original mount. They look fairly straight forward to change, but are they? Any special way or things I need to watch out for? Had a search but not found my answer. Thanks
