Looks tons better. My dad had a 200sx a few years ago (same age as yours actually) and i always thought that the back lights and exhaust looked messy, youve sorted both out and turned it into a far cleaner looking car IMO :)
There was only one plug on mine and they work as phase 1 lights but i have a phase 2.
Im going to look into soring it out as it looks a bit wrong to me!
Light covers off and rear lights put back to normall and it would look better.
Maybe more drop on the front to match the rear too. Dont like the paint, but do like the wheels :)
I test drove it but i kinda get overcome with the excitement of having potencially buying a new car to notice anything that i wont like.
I called the finance company who were more than just a bit unhelpfull. They will charge me a percentage to end the agreement even if i take a new policy out...
lol, first....not the best when it comes to spell checking!
Peperami...I already have a magnex exhaust on it which i like but it still needs more. Maybe a chip and tints will make me feel better about it.
Suze, its yours..for a small fee of course :)
Ive owned my 2003 172 for about 4 months now and to be honest, its been 4 months of hate!
Before the Clio I owned a BMW 328i coupe sport, before that i had a Leon Cupra 1.8t engine and body mods, before that, a golf V5....The list is endless. Unfortunately as I change my car so often in the...
Halogen is a naturally yellow light, these bulbs simply use a blue coating, if you mix yellow and blue you get green!
Sounds daft but its true, the blue coating blocks out a lot of the yellow light and what it does let through it turns more green than blue. They are not worth a penny, you...
Blue dials are easy enough but making the needles light up red is going to be difficult.
As standard, the clio uses 6 LED's to light up both the needles and the digits. You would need to block the blue light to the needles then fit separate red led's onto a new circuit for the needle...
The radio display was OK until i hit a big pothole and the LED's slipped inside it. They just need moving about a bit and it will be pretty even again.
I fancy adding a few more touches now like backlighting behind the door handles and little things like that. I eventually want it to light...

Hopefully they will work!
210's and 225's go to about the same mate, both use the K04 turbo and the same injectors, the only difference in the map used. The 225 has better wheel bearings and different colour badges but thats it.
Revo should definately have taken his car to at least 260, but it normally gets them to 265 :)
You might have seen my last car around, it was a bright yellow LCR, KRL on the plate, black lights and tints.
Do you live on Tinshill Rd by any chance?
Great pics. I really miss my yellow LCR a like! I had the LC with Jabba remap to 235 and loads of torque. Got the fll LCR kit on it, RS6 wheels, the lot. I still see it driving around now, even raced it against the clio (and lost, I was gutted!).
People who reckon they are all over LCR's...
Lol, nope, mine is silver with black/silver wheels. Not seen you around TBH.
I work in the Fox and Hounds at the bottom of tinshill lane/road and the car will be there tonight if you want to have a look, just pop in and i'll give you the keys mate :)
I live in Cookridge mate, work in Bradford if thats any easier for you? I have enough spare LED's left over to do another car as I bought loads incase i shagged mine up!!
Yes, the LED's for the climate are the same as the clock, you can get them from ebay off of crazyleds.
The part you will struggle with is the radio screen and the climate screen. These both have an orange filter, I sanded the filter down so it was transparent again then put a fine layer of...
Blue surface mount LED's are 69p each for the dash and climate screen, you need 10 for the dash (clocks) and 28 for the climate. the LED's for all the switches are just 3mm jobbies that are around 50p each and you need 6, three windows, 1 esp switch, 1 heated screen and 1 door lock, thats the...
Just completed the full car now, it looks amazing, all my screens are blue and all the switches and dials are red, going to fit some mood lighting LED's into the interior light section and then it will look even sweeter.
Its taken a while and isnt particularly easy, but now i know what im...
