Cheers, well the SMG takes a little bit of practice.... best not the view it as an auto but treat it like a manual without out clutch pedal if that makes sense. In auto, lifting off the acc pedel seems to prompt a gear change earlier/smoother and in manual mode if you are just cruising about...

Well, it will be doing 4-5k a year so no biggy really. Big service 5k ago and tax is only £215 so cant think of much cost this year anyway. Insurance not too bad either now im the magic 25.

Ok, so it was a little more than £400 but i'll explain. After writing off my clio, i bought a Mk3 Golf GTI for £300, gave it a wash and sold it for £900..... added an extra £100 to that and bought this for a just over a grand. Therefore only spending £400. Thats how i like to look at it anyway...

Sorry to hear bud. Wrote mine off in May. Was a 54 plate with 65k. Got £5300 for it so well happy. Has worked out pretty well. Bought an in-between car, sold it for a profit and now have a V8 Beemer haha. Onwards and upwards...ish.

You can be the best driver in the world, but how can you be sure someone doesnt lane change suddenly as youre houring passed them while undertaking. Wont last long driving like that ! Crazy.

Nice one mate..... i got 8 punctures and took a month longer. I went the long route though. I want to do it again but feel i escaped death too many times to risk doing it again hehe
