Been having a little problem
Driving around town. Once the car is warmed up. Normal driving, then when you approach a set of lights (stop etc) and then put in the clutch ro roll to a stop, the engine is still ticking over at 2000 rpm, blip the throttle and then it drop to a normal idle, well...
Interested in some KTec - Ultimal lowering springs
Any ideas - are they any good???
Also do you need to change the toe in / out for these when you drop them in??? or the camber / caster???

Hi, was having a problem with my speedo sometimes it would just stop working and then come on again. then it died a bit more, so it would work when i set off and then after a couple of miles it would die and not come back on again until the next trip.
Change the speed sensor - now it's ok but...
The trim on the dash, the silver trim around the central air vents.
mine has become a bit rough and i want to remove it to repaint but unsure how to remove it - any ideas???

Anyone had this problem before. Speedo works and then all of a sudden no speed reading (rev counter etc all working still) then the needle kicks back in and is working again or for a while and then the same happens again.
Is it a fault in the ???? where to look??
Hi, Rear disk is not that bad but the bearing has gone.
Is it easy to remove the bearing? if so whats the method?
circlips - just pushed in?

Just noticed that on one of my rear discs - there is a ring rust about 1/2 an inch wide around the edge. Guess the pad is not in full contact with the disc - What's wrong?
Seems my washer has gone, give it a squirt and it just splutters and the little motor just whirrrs away. This happen on my last CLIO - is there any cause / solution (other that replacement) or are they just crap from the start?
I understand that the cambelt should be changed at the 72K service or 5 years, or which ever comes first.
I Know that cambelt is important - a bust one = trashed engine.
However, my 2001 - 172 is real low mileage, (around 8000mile) garage want to change the belt - on that mileage isit really...
before the web site was revamped there werespec sheets for a few of the motors, 172,182,v6's etc - where have they gone? does anyone have a copy?

All of the other lights in rear cluster are fine - any ideas to whats up?
Yes - have checked the bulbs (fine)
Just been to Renault to get some new pads for me Mk1 V6.
More or less 200 note for each set - so 400 something for front and rear.
Seem a tad bit of a rip off!!!!!
Halford plus some other parts places say that they cannot even order them! Any ideas as I don't fancy parting with so many notes...
On my 172, thought I'd change me spark plugs today - whipped of the engine cover, opps where are the plugs???? Followed the HT leads to somewhere!
Any ideas on what needs removing / order toget to the little buggers, plus anything else I should know?
