Awesome, just got my torch out (not a euphemism :rasp: ) and went and had a look, and yeah I spy a connector thing, so that should be it :D
Cheers. :star:
I've been having problems for ages with my car either not starting for a couple of tries, or just dieing when I put the clutch down at lights or something. But then once it's warmed up the problems generally fixes itself, although not always.
But in the last couple of days it's now twice not...
Is that genuine? Because I was told by someone else to floor it up a hill in like second to 'clear it out'. Does it actually improve the quality of emissions?
Thanks by the way. :)
So my mot ticks off in a couple of weeks, and obviously I don't particulary feel like failing it.
But the problem is that I am going to fail it.
So any tips tricks that might scrape me through (other than bribery, which might actually be a possibility :quiet: ) would be really...
My car's developed a lovely new problem to baffle me
The first time I had it, it went something a little like this....
On my commute there's a big twisty downhill section (a36 into Bath) with backed up traffic for the lights at the bottom, so I just neutral roll it down there and it takes...
IIRC the halfords kit is a bit of sticky something or other, a hook and a piece of rope. :S
I'd go for the pro's. Or you could do what I'm doing, and wait till you have enough dents to get a bulk discount at the bodyshop. :D
If you really don't want badges, you could get a vinyl strip printed up quite cheap, with something or other on it.
Or maybe just a fade to the colour of the handle strip bit.
I don't know if there's a technical name for them, just 'locking push switch' should get you what you need.

You know you want to.
Having had my car for a few months I finally got bored of the factory tape player, and went and got a Cd player (sony something or other).
Seeing as I now actually have a choice over the music I play (instead of just cycling through an REM tape, one compilation and a Rage Against The Machine...
I wouldn't think it'd be much different from a 1.2, fuel economy wise or anything wise. Wrong?
Anyway, you know you love the sound of the 1.2 motorway whine. :D
Since then it's started perfectly a couple of times from cold, and again has done it's little act again. So I don't know what to think.
Surely someone must have even the wildest thought about this... or maybe even an interesting story about horses. Seriously I'd appreciate anything.
I'm rubbish at telling the types of clio apart, but I think it looked like a 182.
Vague eye contact (he was obviously envious of my limited edition biarritz ;) ) as he was pulling into the car park at about 1 ish.
Anyone here? If so, your car was quite shiny, it's very nice. :approve:
Turn the car upside down and give it a shake.
....other than that, one of those mini inspection mirrors on a little pole would probably help you find it.
I've had problems for a while now, where the immobiliser won't properly turn off when I click the central locking, but I've always found it could be started by just revving it a bit as it was turning over.
But earlier today after I had it parked up in town, so it was starting from cold, it...
We're jamming, It's jamming, and I hope you jamming too.... sorry
Anyway, my window's not all that awesome at the mo. It'll wind down a couple of inches, then gets stuck. It makes a kind of metally noise, so I'm don't want to try forcing it and scratch the glass.
I'm guessing it comes off...
Do I stand a hope in hell of insuring a Mk1 16v when I'm 18 with 1 years NCB? I know Adrian Flux are supposed to be good at young folk driving stupid cars, but then people say their claims process is BS, so I'm not sure.
Thoughts?
I'd say get a cheap 1.2... because that's what I did.
You can slaughter it and have it on the edge of losing control, all while staying within the speed limit. :D
Straight line speed though? Forget it.
I usually try to avoid admitting to working at Halfords (hey, it's on bikes alright) but if I was you, I'd avoid the aircon services on offer.
There's a lot of ill feeling within the company about inadequate/no training, and a lot of stores are refusing to run the service at the moment to avoid...
So I'm trying to install a driver for a new webcam, and installshield's throwing up this error. Now I've followed their consumer help instructions, but when I try to install the different version of the installer, it has the same problem.
So basically, I can't install the driver because the...
