Right, not posted with a prob for a while, but for the past 6 months ive been having probs with the cup (see previous threads) Now its back in again with broken near side front road spring! And coz i have warranty it goes to Renault. They have been so rude and unhelpful this time! Anyway...

so got my cup back today after 2 weks at renault. Had ECU replaced. Lets hope thats the last of the probs;)

Right me again... The update is that im still having a problem with my cup cutting out. Its been nearly 2 weeks since i had my spark plugs replaced on the recommendation of 2 renault technicians. It had only done 39k miles and they said that they were the originals and never been changed...

I know this should be in mechanical really but just wanted some opinions and thoughts. Does anyone owning a 172 cup have continuous probs with engine or running of it? Have probs been easily sorted?;) Thanx, really appreciate ur thoughts...

Posted a thread last week RE my engine cutting out on my cup. Went into Renault on Mon/Tues and throttle body was replaced. Been driving round everyday and everything has been fine.....until tonight! Took it out for a blast, engine was already warm and bl**dy thing cut out again at a...

Can anyone help me? Ive got a clio 172 cup and having an intermittent problem with the engine cutting out when I get to traffic lights, roundabouts or on idle. The STOP light and battery light come on and I have to start the engine back up. It sometimes goes on limp mode when I start it back...
