    25bhp Gain???

    The idea behind it works but obviously small fans will not do anything. I once saw a video of someone using a huge leaf blower to blow additional air in his engine. A before and after dyno showed around 20HP increase.

    Would it be financially wise just to change car, especially the cost involved for the remap, clutch and engine mods?

    Check out the Golf forum, there are loads of information on there. It will get expensive if you need a new clutch which is mostly the case.
