Sport insurance vs. Current 1.2 policy

Agree with Ghm, put someone older with no accidents as an occasional named driver and it does help. I've been driving for 12 yrs now used to put mum on it, now she's older it doesn't help so I put my b/f on it now and still saves some pennies. tho if I got a £3k quote I'd get a bus pass until I...

Used to be with virgin and didn't have any problems (non cabled area) UNTIL we moved house, literally 10mims down the road. They said we couldn't keep the package we were on and had to pay more! Help desk useless! So, I asked if a new contact would be started, "no we'll just add to ur existing...

    Rainx - its brilliant

Tried this? It's great, especially due to the weather we've been having up here recently. Can't believe how much better it works than any other (cheaper) brands I've tried. Worth the price tag for such a wee bottle

Wife Gets The 172 Bug !

We both have clio's, me the 172cup and him ph1 172, I prefer mine as he has lowered his and not that comfy on the crappy roads round here. I bought mines first and he drove it and not long after he had to have one too. We love them and feel a little upset that one day they'll die (little...

Just been hit by uninsured driver :-(

When I ditched my car when oncoming vehicle barged me off road (no he didn't stop) I had to do it on a budget, bought bits off eBay new and second hand and got small local sprayer to do them for me and fitted them myself. Still cost a small fortune I'm afraid to say, bumper, fog and head...

Another cup failing its mot !!!

I've had a look on VOSA and their "special notes" section only goes back to 2008, pretty sure it was it that section but obviously an older year Looks like it was Feb 2006 as that is the old link that doesn't seem to be working

Another cup failing its mot !!!

Had the same problem. Failed a couple of years ago as he said load sensor missing a part, according to VOSA the cup doesn't have this part and there is a specific page in the MOT tester guide that shows a pic of the cup and tells them to ignore it. (can't find the page online tho?) More...
