Ive had both the 2.2 16v coupe and the 2.0 turbo coupe the difference is amazing the 2.2 was a struggle, the turbo was stupid, at 135mph it would still keep pulling and pulling, 2.2 16v engine was good in my old vx220 though mainly because it weighed as much as a bag of crisps!

In 2 years / 5 years / 10 years time the vee will be worth a hell of alot more than the 197 if you can some how keep it then you'd be alot better off!

ring up a company called accident exchange they'll sort everything and you dont even have to inform your insurance company if you've had an accident, they'll give you a like for like car too.....

Im pretty sure there are no mk2 whites, i'm board and just searched through the owners club forum and can only find one solid white mk1 v6 on an '02' reg, so guess it may have been the 1.2 the other guys were talking about...
