Are 172 PH1 the same MPG as a PH2?

So they either; Don't weigh the same? Have different engines? Are set up slightly differently? Going with parkers.com, or are they wrong?

I don't see how its physically possible to get the same (if not better?) mpg from a car with 2.0 litre engine weighing a over a ton as appose to a tiny 1.6 made from tin foil that only weighs ~800kg ...

As title says, was looking at getting one or the other but was going to go with VTS as I thought the MPG would be a fair bit better. But parkers states the VTS as 33 MPG and a 172 as 34 MPG? Is this correct?

Don't think it will have service history or surely they would have stated it in the ad? Although it could because they didn't put the mileage in the ad and i had to ring up for it! So the mileage isn't to high?

Found a Dynamique, decided i'd rather have a little more power and go for the dCi 100, although they are a little harder to come by. 2004 on an '04 dCi 100 Dynamique 77k £2,995 I know there are ones with lower mileage, but this one is fairly local to me, thoughts?

An inspirational thread, wish i had the knowledge how to do it myself! I know a fair bit about cars, but where did you learn how to do all this? Books, courses or something else? I'm really interested in learning so i could do something similar Thanks in advance :)

I thought the expression + sempt to have alot of extras already, air con etc, what does the dynamique have on top of the expression + ?
