ok.... yeah the phrase leaving the scene of the accident was running through my mind... but then again If I didnt actually see the accident... I guess thats all there is to it.... the 3rd car back probally had a good view
yeah I just heard screeching tyres and a bang... I looked in the rear view mirror and there was the guy with his bonnet bent. I let my car run forward as far as I could when I heard the screeching because I thought it was the car behind me..
Hey all... need a bit of advice wether I did the right thing. On a road today the car in front of me stopped a bit quick coming up to a round about. So in turn I had to stop pretty quick, and the car behind me. But the car behind me got rear ended. I didnt stop because If I had I would have...
sound like it went down to the primer but I cant see how that would happen just by wiping the surface.... I would try polishing the area with a good polish then a natural wax to fill the fine scratches....
my first car was a really old ford escort estate. The guy used it to move engines around... the boot well was full of oil... but that car never had a spot of rust at the back
Ok well 4 emails later and Ren UK wont give me my 3rd year of warranty because I didnt extend it while it was in its 12 months of manufacturers warranty.... oh well... wish Id nown about it earlier though
I had the same problem with my MR2.. its not the make or cost of the tyre itself... its the speed rating of the tyre... on my MR2 they were rated upto 150mph... which was stupid really but my insurance informed me that unless I replaced them with the same speed rated tyres they wouldnt cover me...
You know what it sounds like to me ....now that Renault have obviously made the balls a a tighter fit, the stalks are splitting.... typical isnt it ...
Oh and Liam its not the whole stalk as such that is filled with water... only the tube with the thread on it down the center... is the crack large? can you fill it with a small amount of superglue for now? dont go mad though it might make the plastic go white.
Ok well not being content with having to take the bumper off I did it another way :devilish:

Well the EU conformity paper I have says its from the Netherlands so it should all be ok there... I think Ill pop into my local Renault tomorrow and see what they think... arrgh what a pain in the kahoonas
Thats where I hit the problem Metallic... everytime I call Renault UK I get to the part where they ask for the Chassis number... as soon as I give it to them they tell me I only had 12months warranty and thats it... I cant apply for the 3 years... Maybe I should ask to speak with a manager in...
Well its actually renault UK telling me this... should I just try taking it to the dealer with the copy of the letter off of here and all the other bits and pieces? I imagine they will tell me the same thing.
Ive rung Renault a couple of times now and they wont extend my warranty to 3 years.. They keep telling me I only had 12 months warranty on it. Even though thats not what the letter thats been on this site says. It clearly says that imports purchased after the 17oct 2000 from within the EU are...
Does anyone know a way of replacing these without removing the bumper. Otherwise how do you remove the bumper to get at them.
Ive had a washer ball go missing but Renault have fixed the problem and you cant get the ball out of the new part.
Thanks in advance
I just spoke to renault about getting mine extended... and apparently you have to get it done while its still within the manufacturers warranty... I missed it : (
Hi all.... just wanted to see where I stand on this. Took my car into Renault the other day because it wouldnt start. It turned out to be the TDC sensor. The cars 25-26 months old. With 14k on the clock. I walked out with a bill for £233 ... should my car have a 3 year warranty? it is an...
well all I know is when I got the washer stalk from renault ... the packet had a bit of paper in it that looked like it was the result of being photocopied 5 million times... it was all in French but I noticed a few words indicating a known fault with the old ones.
Ok so I bought a new washer ball from renault... and it turns out theyve now fixed the problem with the ball popping out so I now cant simply swap the ball over... Im going to have to replace the whole stalk....
Ive tried popping the new one out but its tight! and Im going to damage something...
