HI All
Glad to see someone is taking notice of my earlier threads on this, I am going to speak to my dealer tomorrow and push this a bit now (again). Ren Edinburgh are lying thru their teath on this too.
Anyone else got anything to say on this matter????
As neil82cup says, we have 3 on order from Demon Tweeks came in at £30 each. Green are made on the same production line as K&N (so thats why they look similar), only difference is these one are green in colour, and without KN stuck on the box! Green make filters where K&N dont, was what I was...
I am planning to see if I can redirect the inlet pipes to the box in the near future. What is the best panel filter to go for? I have used K&N and PiperX, I think I prefer K&N. Opinions pls.....
mailto:B@llsie">B@llsie - Neil is teady172 bro
The question is who are you, and have I I got you on my mailing list for meets etc?
Let me know, either on this post, or by PM. Cheers
Personally think the cup 172 badges are better off thank on, why spoil that lovely blue paintwork!
Paul - My Bros cup had mat rubbing strips and so does Brods, or shall I say the one that he use to drive!
Have you got Neil to join the club yet??
I love that rear spoiler!
Paul - Is your...
HI Steve, please read my post above with what to do, then get back to this subject and post the Tech ref number.
An idea would be to post all ref numbers so we can get an idea of how many are raised. I was told yesterday that we need at least three to make them notice, but I think we need...
Who did you speak to Craig?? As I take it your taking about Sighthill, who turned me away saying it was not warrenty! Please can let me know more details either here, PM, or email me, as you have had mails from me too!
Cheers
Yes they have, and you dont get a lot of things for you money too. Basically the Billy pack is like any of the other packs you can by such as a climate or electric pack.
Figure wise:
1.2 (75) - 13.0
1.4 (98) - 10.5
1.6 (110) - 9.6
65 dci - 15.0
85 dci - 12.2
I think the best one...
If you take it anywhere apart from Reno, you will loose your warrenty on those panels as far as paint is concerned. Just depends how you feel about that, and if you know a good garage. If you are not happy with the spray with Reno, they will do it again, I know from experience. Bad luck on...
Sorry my mistake, your in Marks area, Doh! Im sure he has contacted you, but if not, please look under the members area and have a look at Area 15, and you will see other members in your area and Marks email address. cheers
Thanks for replying all, there is a problem with the jacking points that is clear. The question is will you help make this problem noticable to Reno?? I have a guy at Reno Cust Service who want to push this thru, but needs people to come forward. If you could take your car to your dealer and...
Has anyone jacked their car up and found they have bent their jacking points in the process? This tends to occur on the front jacking points where there is great weights and so far it has been on MK II clios. You may not know this has happened too, unless you get your head underneather and...
Reno need a technical report of more than one in number to sit up and pay attention, pls can you get in contact with me at mailto:marc@cliosport.net"> marc@cliosport.net or mailto:marcgibson78@yahoo.co.uk"> marcgibson78@yahoo.co.uk, if you have had a jacking point issue with your car please. thanks.
I had the same dilemma with my 172 import. I spoke to my dealer about it, and I was told off the record that I would be better sticking with the two year manufactures, as dealer warrenty is not as good. Reno are pretty good if something packs up in the 3rd 4th yrs anyway, if you have it...
I had a puma for a wee while, but it had problems so gave it back, I decided to go for the 172 import, and after 10 months I am still smiling when I drive it, unlike the puma. I still have a soft spot for the puma, but I think the 172 is more of a car, and you can be sure the 172 will stop for u!
I have found that they like higher pressure than the orginal contis but I have only had them a week so I need to play around with the pressure. I would say you still need more in the fronts thou due to the weight balance. I am going to phone a few places to see what their opinion is.

The latest.....
I have just been told that Renault UK are flying someone up to look at my car in the near future, as they are concerned that this has happened to five Clios within the Club. My dealer manager was very impressed how serious Renault have taken this matter. Will keep you posted.
