It's that extra bit of travel that cancels the speed limiter. To use it you have to push the pedal a little harder than usual. The problem I'm having is that the pedal stays all the way down past the extra bit even when I take my foot off. Has no-one else had this problem before? I assumed it...
My 182's accelerator pedal has started sticking when I use the 'kick-down' switch. So when I change gear, I'm bouncing off the revs because the gas pedal is still on the floor! After a few seconds the pedal does suddenly release but still! Free fix from Renault surely???
I'm not looking to spend that much, I won't be taking them on a track. Heard good things about the mintex pads. Maybe them on the Brembo HC discs? Will stop looking at cross drilled discs. Thanks for the info!
All from K-Tec:
Cross drilled discs with Ultimax pads - £116
Cross drilled discs with EBC Redstuff pads - £146
Brembo HC discs with Carbone Lorraine RC6 pads - £175
Brembo HC discs with DS2500 pads - £186
What do people recommend? From what I can see the Brembo HC discs are not...

My 182 did something similar to this except it would blow the fuse when the bulb went out. Turned out to be the ballast.
~£40 off here, £1xx from Renault.
I think most people have this problem with the alarm. It has been discussed many times before.
I think the general consensus is that basically the alarm system is relatively slow to activate/deactivate. So locking the car too soon after turning off the ignition will make it beep 3 times as a...
The tweeters in the Rainbow SLX230 Deluxe set fit perfectly.
And to amp them, I cut into my connects2 stalk control adapter so both the car and headunit looms remained intact.
I didn't bother wiring new speaker wires to the door. Too much effort. My tweeters are where the old ones were. Twists the grills off and prise the tweeters out and your new ones will fit there nicely.
There really is no need to remove the dash. Way OTT. I've just fitted a set of rainbow components in my 182. The old tweeters prise off really easy. The new ones can just sit in their place in you can run new cable down the dash to a crossover.
