I had a prob with the button on the circuit board in the fob and the mini momentary swich had come off (could tell because when you push it it does not make the click sound) so I just resolderd it back on put some new battery's in and away we go.
This had happened to both remotes.
So I spent all night trying to disifer the Renault engine codes, what I have got so far is
F8Q632 or F8Q630
F (engine family A-Z)
8 (engine architecture 8 Diesel engine with indirect injection or 9 Diesel engine with direct injection)
Q (displacement A-Z) easy up to now :)
right then this is...
Soon as i find out what Springs will fit in the frunt and i get some proper spacers it will be ;)
also need more power because that 65D realy is the slowest thing on the road even people walking backwards can overtake me.
Renault dont do a 150bhp DERV tho so might have to max something up :)
Well after driving 7h for these alloys off Viper I got round to getting tyres and fitting today.
Fronts are OK (95% full lock) but the backs were a no fit so after 16mm worth of spacers we got them on but was still rubbing all the way back home quite bad so had to take them off and do some...
why do you think it takes so long?
loom off 5, fuel line off 5, manifolds off 5, line up cambelt 3, cambelt off 5, inlet off 5, rocker cover off3, head off 5. then reverse
if you have done something a load of times over years and years you soon find the realy quick ways off doing things. + air...
anything were the ad says "has the capabilities to unleash real power gains" without changeing anything but the air filter is worth about £10
if you realy think your panal filter is holding back the power of the n/a clio engion then you buy away :)
do you have to take the engion out to do it? then its not going to take long then is it.
you should try changing a cam belt on a 3l V6 in a corsa then you can say its tite :)
even changeing the belt on my 2.0 corsa was easy and you had to take the PS and alt totaly off 1st before even trying to...
because it takes all the fun ouf of a hobby called modifying
people have been putting cosworth lumps and vaux LET or XE lumps in anything and everything but what thay came from for the last 10-15 years because:
1: its fun doing something new
2: something others would not expect
3: sometimes...
take the belt off (should take 1min for some one with small hands) spin the tensioner's to see if there ok. if thay are put a new belt on. Cost of not more than £10 depending on where you get it from (not renault)
or if you work in an office (soft hands) go to a wilco moter save (or simaler)...
£20 each does sound cheep but at that price you can have them done every year.
paint has so meny things that can go rong with time powercoting is better because less things effect it (you cannot question the Tappits fact machine)
Other than hitting something with them theres not mutch that can...
thinks of the "whats the most stupedest thing your dealer has ever said" topic :)
as for you belts
some one said 7h to change it??? whos doing that spanner people in min wage you can do a full head swap and service in about 3h if you know what your doing.
as for the kit its self, get the the...
Sounds like a renault.
When you tern the key to on in the ignition what do the dash lights do. I know there's a problem with some Renaults that if you don't unlock with the fob (i.e not with key) it will not start there is a way to bypass this and its a pain and also completely deactivates the...
