How much is a new steering pump for a clio 172 98-01 model? Mine is making all sorts of noises when the car is cold judders too I'm having a hard time getting it out of a parked position .

Im haveing the same problems, ive had three work shops look at and cant find anything wrong? I havent taken it to renault yet, this is my last resort!

replace the throtle cable mate!

im having the same prob, after it went to the garage. It went to the garage with the problem of low revs when cold and havting to let it warm up until i ran it otherwise it would cut out but now i have this throtle sticking at 2000 revs problem, please let me know it you find out the problem...

my clio 172 wont idle properly when cold and if i try to drive it when cold it cuts out, so i have to wait until it warms up, does anyone have any idears of what the problem is? cheers

I have the 172 phase 1 clio, if i fit the 182 cup springs, will they fit and will it sit lower than the original 172 springs? the springs are off the 2005 model? cheers

Can someone help me? im after lowering springs for my clio which wont make the ride too hard going, ive got gmax at the mo lowering it at 35mm, the roads are soo crap in eastbourne and it shakes the car! im after something a little softer? cheers

had the wheel bearings checks two months ago? they said they were fine.

Since i had the rear shocks replaces 3 months ago, i have a knocking noise coming from the rear of the car, but it dosent happen untill the car warms up at slow speeds, it sounds like top mounts to me but iv been told that the rears shouldnt need to be replaced, the exhust had been checked and...

when i say a rattle, its more of a dull knocking at slow speed?

i have the twin cat on the exhaust system, ive have the middle section replaced with a single exhaust pipe but the cat is still attached, what im worried about is are the two lamber sensors still intact or would they have removed one? are both the lamber sensors in the cat pipe? cheers

Is it quieter than the ashley exhaust?

but if i just replace the back box and leave the middle section is it poss to make it quieter?

ive been reading through the search option and still got it wrong, had an ashley motorsport exhaust system fitted to my 172 phase 1 and my god, sooo loud! is it the back box making it so loud or is it the fact that the middle silencer has been removed and if i replace the back box for a quieter...

hi , iv only had my car two weeks, the suspension doesn't feel right on it, iv had lots of uprated suspensions on cars and never felt like this, vibrates through the whole car, took it to have the wheels balanced and tracking done found out that 3 out of the 4 standard wheels were badly buckled...

Hi! just bought a clio sport 172 2001 phase 1, with the usual melting steering wheel, noticed that the steering is a little stiff, if i fit a 300mm aftermarket steering wheel, will this make the steering even stiffer? cheers dawn
