Sold my last Clio 16v about 3 years and missed it something rotten. Spoke to my mate today and he said that hes just got a new car and wants rid of his valver. I know him well and its in good condition apart from he thinks either the gearbox or driveshaft has gone. Said if I can get it...
Hey peeps
My girlf has just bought a 2002 Renault Clio Dynamique. While going through the handbook I noticed that it should have an alloy wheel key in the glovebox to take the centre cap off the alloy. Ive look in the glovebox and cant see anyplace that is should/could be. Any ideas where...
My dads got a GSI V6 as his company car. Im insured on it so regularly give it a good ragging. Feels a bit heavy at first but it is quick...handles superbly too.
Do you think valvers will be the type of car that even though they will be 12-15 years old people will still look and think what a cracking car it is or think that its just an old car. Im saying this because I saw an Sierra Cosworth the other day that was an A reg (I think) and in its day it...
I wonder if any of you can help. When Im slowing down and changing gears from 4th to 3rd or 3rd to 2nd, I sometimes (not all the time) get a slight crunch when I put it into gear. This NEVER happens when Im changing up the gears only when changing.
Any ideas?
Dont worry! Nothing to do with Gareth Gates!! Recently, every time I start my valver up its stutters and judders then sounds like its gonna stall, then all of a sudden it revs on its own accord, then sounds like its gonna stall then revs again. This goes on for about 5 minutes and then it seems...
Well, Ive just had the Yoko A539s put on and they seem brilliant. It had just been raining and they seem quite good in the wet. Gave them a good ragging round a roundabout and they gripped really well. Hopefully theyll be even better when theyve worn in a bit!!
Brun, I had the Exaltos too. They were a bloody good tire and seemed to last a lifetime. Im only changing tire as my Pilots were 205s and Ive decided to change to 195s to see if there is any difference.
Ive heard contrasting views about the A539 in the wet. Some say they grip well some say they dont, gonna have a look this afternoon! I got them from a tyre fitters near me, theyre based in Kings Langley, Herts.
Hey all!!
The time has come to change my tyres. Im currently running on Michelin Pilots 205/50 15 but am gonna change and get 195/50 15. Im looking for a tyre with good grip both in dry & wet.
Can anyone recommend a decent tyre or let me know what type youve got?
Hi all,
This was the alarm that came with my car when I bought it. Is this the Renault standard alarm or was it put on by the previous owner?
I need to know because the bloody thing keeps going off and I wanna get it sorted.

I just phoned up a garage that I know that specialises in Renaults as I thought Id give my car a service. They know what theyre doing as I had some repairs done there not long ago. He quoted me £250 for a full service (cambelt etc). Is this a good price?

I like the look of that! The thing is they will have to cut the bumper to accomodate the twin exhaust because at the moment it only has one oval cutting for the single backbox. They will do this if I ask them wont they?!
I was hoping to go down before xmas but time is running out!! Good to hear someone else had the twin 3.5" thought.....
Hopefully get a good exhaust roar, my Magnex back box is a bit too quiet for my taste.
Ive finally had enough of my exhaust rattling about. I can even hear it about my tunes!! Anyway, Ive decided that Im gonna go to Top Gear in St Albans (as its just up the road) to get a Powerflow jobby fitted.
Ive only heard good things about this place so hopefully itll be a good one. Do...
