I was driving on dual carridgeway and something that looked like a horseshoe flung out the back of the car, i dnt think it was something in the road i think it was attatched to the car.. Cudnt stop obviously.. Does this horseshoe like component ring any bells with any1???

A good friend of mine sent me the link to this car as he is thinking of buyin a 182 in this specific colour... Seems like a gud price but after speaking to the dealer he says the cambelt has not been done... If its every 50k or 5 years then its been due for a long while... Anyway heres the link...
