Got chance of a few electric throttle pedals for clio which look the same as my 172 cliosport one but will it fit ? or is fly by wire something different? Got rubber cover on pedal but i'm not a purist. Thanks:dapprove:

Okally dokally as neddy would say heres what i did and it worked in my case. Top of the gas pedal is a long connector which i detached and then put back in. LIMP MODE GONE !!! Before we break out in fits of joy there is a down side:S Its a bit hit and miss because when i took it out again and...

I have exactly same problem on / off limp mode which corrects itself { or did }. Waiting for a code reader to arrive. my mate believe it or not said his radio code came up on his !! Maybe you decode it ? Naaaa can't borrow his as he is away { my luck } Anyhoo his was the coil pack and dirty...

What exactly is the rectangular yellow warning light with wavy line in middle of panel ? Thanks

As a matter of interest there is a black rubber tube coming from top of the main air inlet from the air box. Should the other end push on somewhere or just hang down open ended like a battery breather pipe?

I have lack of throttle response and the rectangular orange light with the wavy line is on in middle of dash panel . Has actually flickered off and back came the response but only for 5 or 10 seconds then back on it came and no response again. Figured it might be the 57i induction kit i fitted...

Yep all is well. Moral : Don't wash a 172 engine :) Water runs under the plastic cover which acts ike a window sill and drips water down around the plugs. And it apparently screws up the FBW throttle electrics etc etc. Your sealed plug covers don't work Mr Renault. And as for you water:rasp:

Sound like dephaser pulley or who did the belt? did use correct timing tools & loosen all the pulleys? What & Where is dephaser pulley ? Had a look round on sites but nil result :(

Can't really say about the timing tools etc. Obviously its in their hands and you trust they know what they doing in that respect. As i said it ran perfect upto the damp problem Thanks
