Thanks for all the replys boys. I think the car did have cruise control that it came out of. My situation is my 129 has done the circlip in so was after a 130 box. I don't need the Speedo drive as mine is just a 172 ph2 which takes Speedo from abs

Anybody know what year they started to put the jc5 130 box into 172s. I can get a gearbox out of a 53 plate just wondered what's the chances of it being a 130 with bolted diff???? Tia

Im just in the middle of fitting an sm inlet manifold can anyone tell me what you do with alternator top bracket? I know the support bracket gets binned. How does the actual bracket bolt back up with engine mount aswell? Also does the alternator need to come off? Thanks Dave
