Picked you up around J7 and we parted on the M61 as I peeled off to Bolton. I'm guessing you're on here as we waved.
Your RB was looking shiny  putting mine to shame :o but then there is a building site next to my works car park at the moment and it's an impossible task to stay clean :(
It was heading out of Cheadle, up towards Cheadle Hulme just after 4pm - C L I O was spaced out wide accross the boot. Was in Wife's Leon FR so didn't let on.
Saw a lovely twin heading north through Astley Bridge in Bolton last night as I pulled out of a side road by the Lamb pub, driven by an equally lovely young blond lady!! ;)
The 182 (2005) I used to have gave me an average of just under 40mpg during the year I had it, the 197 (2008) I've now had for 2 months has so far given me a best of 38.8 and worst of 31.2 - although the on-board computer seems to read between 32 and 35mpg??
Just had my wheels done this w/e at Smart Wheels, all four for £200, and very impressed. dropped the car off at 9am and picked it up at 6pm and the wheels are like new and a perfect colour match for the center caps. The guys there were really helpful, so I really recommend these guys. :-)
Thanks. I picked her up on Wednesday and so far so good. Booked in for major service and cambelts next Friday, started detailing the body already and the computer is telling me I'm getting c.33mpg - we'll see how this one goes...
Hope to get the wheels sorted out soon and have a call...
Hi, less than a year after selling my RB 182, I'm about to return with a Black 197 :D In the mean time I've had a 2005 Leon Cupra R  which i loved but was sadly written off in a motorway crash  I replaced this with a 2005 JCW Mini which sounded great and was quick but hated the...
I'm looking for same info. Have found Diamond Wheels and Prestige Wheels in Stockport who've quoted £135 / £120 respectively but wanted to see if anyone could vouch for their work.
My average for my 182 cup is just over 37 for the year, trip computer usually tells me about about 1/2 mpg more than reality so quite accurate. Wife's Civic type S's computer lives in it's own dream world compared to real mpg!! I'm mostly m/way driving and yes, I am sad enought to track every...
My mind is cast back the TG episode where they tried to improve the lap times of a Vel Satis by stripping, lowering etc. and didn't achieve a great deal. Renault have spent millions getting the Clio's sorted, so how can some cheap (or not) aftermarket bits make it better? Don't foget, if you...
Followed a red 182 on A666 highway to hell Bolton Wednesday morning - got a wave as I passed.
Followed a metalic dark blue 182 with blacked out windows from Carpet Wright in Cheadle onto the M60 at which point I think his/her engine was warmer than mine ;)
Both were much cleaner than my RB...
Hi All,
I’m a few months into Clio ownership and I have to say it’s a good experience so far. It's a long time since I had a hot hatch and I’d forgotten how much fun they can be :D. It may not be as quick as my beloved Fiat Coupe 20VT which I’ve sold after 7 years (must be an itch or...
Hi All,
I'm new to Clio ownership and this forum. I have an '05 182 cup which I bought back in May and everything has been great so far :D. Driving into work this morning I got a solid yellow light on my dash, which according to the book is an exhaust emission light - but no further info...
