just been to view a car tonight and want to buy it.... have left a deposit on it. however, the logbook is with the DVLA as the car has had a personal plate taken off it. Do I need to wait for the owner to have the logbook before I can collect it? I have no patience so really want the car...

i say poverty cloth in jest! but if you don't get the Recaro's you get nice half leather and alcantara front and back, yet if you opt for the Recaro's you get a bench back seat with the same material as a Dynamique - just doesnt make sense to me. Same in the trophy though too.......

If you buy a full spec 182 with optional Recaro's are the doors still trimmed in alcantara or are they like the back seat and fitted in 1.2 poverty spec cloth?

i would go private but i have a car to part-ex and i wouldnt feel happy selling it to someone knowing that there's potentially a few things wrong with it. whereas i'd have a clearer conscience giving it to a dealer and let them sort out the niggles with it

having just test driven a cooper s 170bhp version i was quite impressed, liked it in comparison to the 172 i have test driven. still quite tempted by the 182 like but not sure i can handle the french depreciation for a fourth time, or the niggly faults you get. but cooper s is serious money.........

Spoken to the bloke, it's his daughters car, he will accept nothing less than 13.5k - wouold rather get a trophy and pocket the small change. I'll keep looking out for one i think :)

i'd agree it would take a lot of road...... personally the only clio i'd feel comfortable doing 120 in would be one of the Sport versions (172/182/V6)
