    silicone glue?

I've got 2 silicone bends for an induction set up that i want to join. I have a aluminium joiner but want to avoid hose clips, can I bond it all together and if so what's the best glue? Wondered whether silicone sealant would do? Thanks!

Petrol Blue No. 1 of 29

Right, had the Full Fat PB for about a year now and thought it was about time I started a project thread (this is actually my 500th post too). Unfortunately the Clio has been a bit of a slow burn due to working full time, rebuilding a 400 year old mud and stud cottage and trying to spend time...

Back, this time with a Petrol Blue!

Hi all, Registered on here in 2003 when I owned a Williams 1 and an EP9 Civic Type-r. I had seen a 172 cup locally and with the Civic doing 24mpg I fancied something a bit more wallet friendly. Good advice from here and 30 odd posts later I owned a 9 month old cup (kept the Williams too)...

    Cheers for the advice

After asking for and receiving much advice regarding the 172 Cup economy and reliability I have been out and bought one this weekend. A year old with 9k on the clock for £8.5k from a dealer, good deal I thought! Now have Clio Williams 1 (for the weekend) and Cup (daily drive + weekend too)...

    Cup/172 Reliability

Having got loads of reponse from my mpg question I am seriously considering a Cup, however I have read a fair few of the reviews on the web (especially carsurvey.org) and am frightened by the horror stories on there. What are your views/experiences where the reliability of the Cup is concerned?

    Cup economy

I am currrently the owner of a Honda Civic Type-R and a Willams 1. I use the Civic for the daily slog to work (400 miles a week) and the clio for fun at weekends (the civic is fast but not as much fun as the Clio!). However, the Civic likes a drop or two of the unleaded (24-28mpg on a good...
