Ahh yes. there is a large 2a one. I just removed it and found the fuse broken. When the column dropped it must have shorted the wire, blowing the fuse. Thanks for the help.

On my fuse box cover my 5amp fuse is for central locking etc not UCH and has 12volts going through it. Are you sure thats the correct one?

Found out the problem. I removed the circlip and washer and then removed the cup that the drive shaft slots into. Unfortunately i can now see the problem. The sun gear on the other side of the diff has damaged teeth which is causing the noise :(. Box back out again grrr.

My 172 ph2 was missing the front n/s abs sensor. I brought a replacement but the plug end is the same as the plug on the loom of the car. I.e it has a male connector with two pins and so does the plug on the loom, so i cannot connect them together. Is there supposed to be a female socket in...

The thing is I have 3 standard crank sensors that came with my engine that all supposedly work so I was hoping to use them. The little metal terminals have pulled out of the loom plug so i just need to know which colour wire goes on top.

I finally got my engine and gearbox in but im having a few problems. The wheels have locking nuts on but the locking wheel key that came with the car is completely different. Are the locking wheel nuts in the picture one that come fitted as standard when the car was new or are they aftermarket?

When you say there is two do you mean on on the drivers side and one on the passenger side? does it mount near the wheel arch. Cheers for the help
