Yea, it makes me smile every time I drive it. Doing the conversion was a bit frustrating at times, especially as I did it all on the driveway in freezing conditions, but driving it home after getting it mapped was a glorious feeling
Prior to this Clio I had a mint, but fairly standard titanium 182. Unfortunately that got rear ended and written off, so a little under 5 years ago I bought my current BG 182. It was a complete shed when I bought it with 8 previous owners who had clearly not looked after it.
I spent the first...
Yea that's probably me, parked near the One Stop.
I've only seen one flamer around St Neots, I'm guessing it's yours... dark wheels and always very shiny? Puts mine to shame, I rarely bother washing it as the paint's in pretty crap condition.
That was me :D My wheels are meant to be white but they're just the colour of brake dust 90% of the time.
Yours is the first 200T I've seen, it's definitely got a lot more presence in the flesh than in photos. I could tell it was an RS straight away.
One behind the Power Station, another just in the general parking. Anyone on here? I wouldn't have been happy driving mine on site, wouldn't have made it over some of the bumps without ripping something off.
I'll be in Heacham which is just down the road so I think I might show my face. Will probably be looking rather rough though, got a messy weekend planned :drunk:
I'll definitely be up for this.
+1 on the Red Lodge suggestion, it's a really good track. Did an endurance race there at the weekend - there were 17 of us, it was £56 each and we did a total of about 60 laps.
Nothing else comes close for the money, pretty much as simple as that for me.
They've got under my skin though, I'm on my second and I can't think of anything that I could replace it with which would be nearly as fun.
Looked like it was waiting to be MOT'd, anyone on here?
Looked really clean, I'm gonna have to get mine washed when I get home.. I'm letting the side down.
My old 182 was declared CAT C after I got rear ended, no major damage just a slightly bent boot floor and a damaged bumper. Does the boot floor count as structural?
Oooh, I might have to go to that. Real fond memories of watching these cars when I was a kid, BTCC in the 90s will probably always be my favourite racing series.
I can't comment 100% accurately, but my old car had a catted Scorpion SRN019 and my current car has a decatted K-Tec and the difference is night and day. The decatted car is massively louder, but I'm not sure it's a nicer sound. Very raspy.
The car with the decat has slightly crappier throttle...
