If anyone wants their picture without the smudged number plate just let me know and I can email it across.
Slightly off the subject, but I see CL55 AMG and SL55 AMG are for sale soon on a DVLA auction. Wonder what they will go for? I wanted to buy one of the *18 TWO number plates but the missus said I was sad.
It could be anything, I am not mechanically minded, it lasts for as long as you hold it, change gear it stops but will then start once you get to 2.5K revs. All I know is it comes from the front of the car.
Has anyone else experienced this? When the car (182) is started up for the first time in a day, when I accelearte in 1st or 2nd gear at about 2.5K - 3.5K revs there is a strange rumbling noise coming from the engine, it doesnt sound too healthy, it is quite hard to describe the noise but that is...
The article is on the Autoexpress website, no pictures though just the text.

A one man band in Stockport, he poked it out by putting a thing in between the door, then knocked it a bit, it came out really well. The crease was to the left of the door handle (on the passenger side).

That is true, by 0.3 of a second. Round the track though it was Mini 94.60 seconds and 182 93.10 seconds.
Group result was 182 five stars, MCS four & half stars.
I think they are both great cars, enjoyed driving both on the test drives we went on. But in the end we went for a 182 for price...
May sound daft but one of the reasons we didnt get a mini (other than the extra money required to get one up to the same spec as a 182) was that they have a stupidly small boot. Now I know for most people practicality does not come into it, but for us it did, and the mini boot is pathetic.
I use a company (one man band) in Stockport he works out of a garage on a Saturday morning, he has removed two dinks from the side of our 182, one on the wing where a golf ball hit it and one on the passenger door where my boss opened it onto a lamp post. The lamp post one he removed without a...
All good points. I hate all the hassle involved. I wouldnt have minded but the irony was I was looking for a space where I was less likely to get a dink in the door.
He has given me his details, but I was trying to get some sort of idea before I have to go round the garages getting quotes. If it would polish out (I doubt it) it probably wouldnt need a new bumper. I think he wants to pay in cash.
Tell me about it, as soon as we picked it up, it has felt like we have been driving around with a giant bullseye on the car. I have had two dents pulled out of the passengers side, one where someone opened it onto a lamp post, one from a golf ball. I have polished out a dink from a prat opening...
Someone very kindly reversed into me on Saturday I was waiting to go into a space in a car park, they reversed out without looking and reversed into the drivers side, back corner of the car. The bumper is scuffed and has very slightly been pushed in. From what I can see there is no damage to the...

If you look on the Geneva website it actually tells you the cars that are new, look under "Premieres" and then Renault. So much for Renault keeping it secret.

The two RS cars listed are

I bought 5 litres from Renault Stockport back in July. Then at the end of January I bought 5 litres again (they only had 3 in stock but they ordered the rest in) Since then I bought an additional 1 litre top up (with free case) This was all 5W 40 stuff from Renault Manchester.
