    Head Gasket Failure?

To diagnose it further I guess a compression check is the next thing to do which will tell me if it is piston rings valve stem seals or head gasket. If it holds pressure ok then the rocker gasket is a good bet. The speed in which the oil covered the spark plug is slighly worrying though.

    Head Gasket Failure?

If it was just the rocker gasket surely the spark plug electrode would not get covered in oil so quickly would it? There were no other signs of head gasket failure though other than oil getting into cylinder no.1 causing a misfire.

    Head Gasket Failure?

Hi everyone just looking for some advise, My run around Mk2 1.4 16V Alize clio lost power on the motorway a few days ago which caused me to get the AA out to fix what I though was a coil pack issue. The AA guy found that cylinder no.1 had a misfire so he changed the coil pack which did not...

Formula Renault, Megane Engine not Firing

It's an F7R from an early megane, they used a scope which showed them the correct wave signal, it was just the voltage output at trigger I wasn't sure about. I'm starting to think it's an ECU or immobiliser issue.

Poorboys wheel sealant Vs Carbone Lorraine pads

They worked fine on my brand new white wheels with the CL pads and brembo discs so should be ok on yours. Although the only thing i haven't tried is leaving the dust to settle awhile along with the dust getting wet in the rain and then been baked on in the sun. That will be tought to remove...

anyone recommend H&R on a williams?

I have H&R's on my williams. Very happy with them. I have only lowered the car about 35mm but it does seem much firmer in the corners. For B roads though i would stick with standard set up. Even though the H&R's are probably softer than most other coilovers they still feel to stiff for bumpy B...

    williams coilovers

Originally had K-tec ultimate shocks and springs on my williams which handled pretty well. Upgraded to H&R coilovers about 3 months ago and glad i did. Theres less role in the corners and they seem to have better damping for absorbing the bumps. Much nicer feel and ride for the road, would...
