Being such dedicated members of Williamsclio, myself & northy felt it our duty to use the ClioSport tracktime as a reccy for Williamsclio members, hence the non existent "racing" lines as we we're sampling as much of the track as possible....;)
Anyhow here we go, CS track time is about half...
I wasn't on about the exhaust sound, throttle bodies....
Always up for a re-match but Jon's had more work done and since the last dual I've found out my cars done the equivalent of a couple of seasons Cup racing and I've now lost about 15bhp....;) ....but hey ho apparently about 185bhp...
As far as I know the current engine spec is....
F4R 2.0-litre 16-valve inline 4 cylinder
Jenvey Individual Throttle Bodies and fuel rail
Jenvey head
GDI custom fast road high torque billet cams
Piper vernier performance pulleys
OMEX600 stand alone engine management
350cc injectors...
Will it be ok putting 15" phase 2 wheels from a MK1 Clio on a 182 to use as track wheels??
I know MarkCup and Chris have some but not sure on the offset for 182's??
Cheers, Gaz.
It's a bit of a ball ache but by the sounds of it u've got to the bit where u need to remove that plastic clip (which u may brake so make sure u have a spare from the windows u've smashed...lol)
It's not easy but thats all u need to remove now and it will slide out.
lol....I went out in the 225 at Oulton on a RS day with the Aircon on, was nice not sweating your nuts off for a change....lol
Then back to reality in an old Mk1 so I cracked the sunroof open and still sweated my nuts off...;)
172 Cup I reckon, no trick bits and the original 'Cup'!!
The Evolution Kit will give u plenty of room for adjustment, as Martin has said u can get it well above standard height and stupidly low if required.
U can buy the front adjustable dampers instead of buying the full kit, not sure if the spring from yours would fit straight on, your rear...
:S ....Ermmm...I think u guys (cliobuyer/cue) are taking this a little out of perspective, I go out with an Insturctor at every track day I attend, and I agree that it's well worth it, unbelievable how much difference it makes going out with an Instructor but I think your missing the point...
