lol, I've got two outstanding emails now with US companies. The Camry item looks like a near miss unfortunately, not quite the right shape...
The other option I'm now looking at is an MP3 autochanger adaptor and amping the factory HU through an equaliser.
I've had no response to my...
The car isn't available over there, the Camry is the closest thing to an Avensis I believe and the dash trim look VERY close on the picture. I've emailed them to see if they know whether it will fit and failing that I may order it and see.
Thanks for that, it looks hopeful!
That may fit the verso but not mine I'm afraid. Its not as simple as being a standard shape double DIN unit. There is a picture here:
http://www.carsite.co.uk/buyer/DisplayCarDetails.do?vrm=RY53TWD
its angeled down the sides etc. so would need a fascia even for double din.
You definately won't screw up the warranty fitting a HU if it has the standard ISO connectors, Its plug'n'play. Be careful fitting the amp and sub though, try and fit them in such a way as to be able to remove them and return the car to standard.
Hello
I want to replace the audio in my (sorry) Toyota Anensis and noone on the Toyota site has been able to help, so I figured I'd throw down the challenge to you guys and see if you could help out a former CS member.
Basicially the factory HU is a tape/cd, double din combo (yuk) with no...
Was Saturday in the White Rose car park. Id just parked up so I was on foot and goot passed by a black mk2 with black-spoked/silver rimmed Wolfrace wheels.

Okay my 2004 Clio II is now dynamatted and sound good but the front speakers grilles are vibrating.
Anyone resecured theres, short of glueing them down?
My Focal Access 130a woofers make a hard vibrating click noise. Not necessarily at high volume but on big bass. The louder its turned up the louder the noise. It isnt distorting and one speaker does it much more than the other. I swapped them side to side and its the sepaker not the channel in...
Im up for the Dales run depending on when it is.
Interesting speed limiter on your 182 Leeds_182, I notice it kick in as you pulled in to wave me past...
Way I see it is that if I can get more, cooler air into the engine then the ECU will inject more fuel to maintain the mix and that will increase the BHP and torque.
Iv e only found one induction kit for the DCI which is the K&N 57i and this comes with an open cone and a cold air feed fed from...
Thanks. The problem is I havnt been able to locate a forced air induction kit for the DCI so I am looking at an open cone. I could go for this and then fit a heat shield.
The K&N kit for the DCi comes with a cold air feed but I was going to modify this slightly and use a heat resistant pipe...
Hello
Just considering fitting an induction kit to the DCi but wanted to know what power gains to expect and whos fitted what.
The other idea I had was to get a better filter, K&N or whatever and then fit an intake under the front bumper and use a heat shielded pipe to feed cold air into the...
Leeds_182: Sorry was late and I only had a breif glance through the forum. Cheers for the comment, handles fanny-tastic too.
Racing182: No mate, Im Black on Black.

But keep an eye for me!
I thought this post would get some funny answers...
Seems though that it may be true then. I know they can still get a signal, the advice was that they would point at the plate and then have to repoint at something else to get a good reading. Just gives you that bit longer to brake / see the...
Just heard the following:
Most hand held speed guns need to flat or near flat surface to get an accurate reading, therefore the operators are told to point the gun at the vehicle number plate for the best reading. Therefore if you fit your plate angles either up or down then this will reflect...
