I think someone has had a replacement windscreen on my 182ff and not had the rain sensor put back on. If I want the auto lights/wipers to work again is it as simple as just buying a sensor off someone breaking a car and fitting it? cheers

So have a shifter kit and just fitted it but a friends just told me they may ruin the gear box as there fairly weak already. I haven't heard this before and he works at Renault. Will I encounter problems?
